| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 08-20-1999 Friday 8-20-99 Today is Tylers birthday and as a gift, Donnie worked up an audio birthday card for him. In past years, arrangements were made for famous people in Tylers life to call into the show and talk to TnT on the air. These celebrities included old Pirates and Stealers, coaches and even his high school principal. This year, however, every famous person Donnie called was a bit too busy to talk to Tyler. Instead, Donnie recorded various secretaries and assistants to the big shots wishing Tyler a very happy Birthday. He strung all of them together and played the clip for Tyler. It was quite amusing. Todd also called Tylers girlfriend. They spoke for a bit and there was a reference made to Becky having her top off while driving down the road in Tylers Pacer but it was quickly swept under the rug. Towards the end of the conversation, Becky put Tylers penis on the phone. From what I can gather, shes got a pretty tight grip on the little bugger and tends to not let it leave her sight. The guys also talked to Tylers dad today. His first words of the conversation were, Hey, its your birthday! in the standard old man form. I laughed like a drunk watching Life Goes On. I dont know what that means
. He wished Tyler a happy birthday, chatted for a while and then hung up so he could call her when she leaves. Towards the end of the show, one of Tylers favorite comedians checked in. Uncle Lar wished Tyler a happy birthday and told the guys hed be back in town sometime in February. Happy Birthday, Buckethead. Larry the Cable Guy called in this morning and gave a commentary on Chastity Bonos lesbian perfume. I am pleased to say that his commentary this morning was very funny (his best one this week). He made several jokes about fat people and tossed in a few pokes (so to speak) at lesbians as well. Larry will check in again next week so make sure to tune in. Also, all you Cable Guy fans should go get in line at the Funny Bone now. Larry will be back at the Bone towards the end of September. Mark Gross from the http://www.funnyboneomaha.com target=blank>Funny Bone came in studio again this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. He was there, of course, to pimp his shows this weekend but he also showed up to have some fun with TnT. He jumped into the conversations of the day and seemed to enjoy himself. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations to see him. The biggest topic of the day revolved around a web site known as http://www.jumptheshark.com/ target=blank>Jump The Shark.com. The idea behind the web site stems from an old Happy Days episode. Basically, the web site covers nearly any TV show you can think of and lets viewers define the turning point for the shows such as when Fonzi jumped over the shark tank on a motorcycle (hence the name). They spent almost the entire show discussing old TV shows, if theyd ever jumped the shark and what may have caused it. The in-studio group had a lot of their own thoughts to add to the various TV shows they discussed but the listeners played a huge part in the show as well. Many called in with their own TV show suggestions that Donnie looked up on the web site. Special Guest appearances seemed to be a major turning point for the worse on a large number of TV shows that were talked about today. I cant even begin to list all the old shows that the guys went into today so I suggest you check out the sight for yourself. Todd and Tyler are going to be at the Johnny tonight at 5pm for a Tailgate Party. Ox 45 will be playing some live music for everyone. Stop on out if youre in the area. The guys will also be appearing at Tracys on 36th & Q Street tomorrow from 12-2pm. There will be Hooters girls washing cars so make sure to check that out. Thats it for todays update. Well see you back here Monday. Thanks for watching. Good night. the Alien Guy-
