Todd and Tyler started out the show today by talking about their weekends. The guys were at the Golden Spikes game on Friday night for a pre-game event and stayed throughout the game to watch the fireworks. Travis even put them on TV when he gave his sports report. They also made an appearance at Tracey’s Auto Collision on Q Street on Saturday and watched the Hooters girls wash cars. They discussed seeing several accidents while at the remote and also talked about one of the people locking himself out of his car.

The biggest topic of the day was Husker (or former…whatever) Shevin Wiggins. It was reported on Friday that Shevin had been arrested for allegedly having some sort of kinky relationship with a 14-year-old girl in a camper somewhere in Lincoln. The guys talked about the arrest, gave Shevin unlimited amounts of crap and joked about all of the Husker Blinder folks using the “Have you seen what 14-year-old girls look like nowadays?” defense. The guys will undoubtedly continue discussing the situation as the story unfolds so stay tuned.

TnT spent a good portion of the show talking about tomorrow’s Flash Back show. They’re going to be bringing back their old news guy Craig Evans, old news chick Emjay, old punching board Beastmaster and old, young intern Jenny back to the show! They’re going to talk about the old days for a bit and then find some new way to torture the Beast again. It should be quite interesting and I strongly suggest you tune in.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning. He commented about the Shevin Wiggins thing. Larry is, after all, a Husker fan. Larry seemed to be trying to spin the whole thing by using the “Have you seen what 14-year-old girls look like nowadays?” defense but his argument wasn’t very impressive. He then moved on to give a rather hilarious commentary about seeing women from India at the local flea market wearing too many clothes. There were many references to the “dots” on their heads as well. It was quite funny.

The guys spent a little time today talking with Lisa Volinec about her dating life. They asked her about which phone numbers she gives out to potential men. In the age of voice mail, e-mail, pagers, cell phones and more, they were curious to see her preferred method of dating communication. He told the guys she gives her work number to them and has her coworkers screen her calls. That way, if she wants to take the call she can. If not, she “blows them off”. The guys also called Lisa’s mother, Carol Ann, whom they haven’t spoken to in a while. They wanted to get her take on the whole Shevin Wiggins situation. Lisa informed them that her mother probably wouldn’t answer any questions because “all of the story isn’t out yet”. The guys were, however, able to drag her opinion out of her.
