Thursday 9-9-99

Todd and Tyler started their show today by talking about the 9-9-99 computer bug. Neither of the guys had heard bout it before just a few days ago. They debated whether the bad stuff was supposed to happen last night when the clock turned over to 9-9-99 or if all hell will break loose tonight when the clock hits 9-10-99. The topic died down quickly because TnT started discussing the Rock-A-Thon.

Slave Boy Chris and Barb the Prize Lady were at the Funny Bone bright and early today getting things set up for the Rock-A-Thon. They began taking donations for Camp Caholo just after 6am from anyone who swung by the Bone to drop something off for the kids. They checked in throughout the show and filled TnT in on how much they were getting and what sort of things they were giving away. Also, you can call in your donations to 250-ROCK (7625). The Rock-A-Thon will continue today and all through the weekend. TnT will be doing their show tomorrow live from the Funny Bone so stop on out and see them.

Somehow, TnT got on the topic of hairy people. They asked their female listeners if they liked guys who were hairy. Many listeners checked in on the topic and TnT found out that most women like a little hair but don’t want a wooly mammoth in bed with them. TnT took a call from a Russian girl who’s going to school at UNO who said she likes really hairy guys. She said that she’s dating an American guy who’s covered in hair and she digs it. Her accent was awesome and I think TnT agreed. They kept her on the phone for about 5 minutes. When Travis came in, he said that his wife asks him to shave his back nearly every day. I guess Trav is quite sasquach-like. After a while, someone came up with a great way to raise money for Camp Caholo. If someone donates $2000 or more tomorrow, Travis will shave his back. Pony up the money! If Trav gets his back shaved, maybe his wife will have sex with him again.

One of TnT’s hair loving callers called in and told TnT about “armpit throcking”. I guess the story behind it is that the guy will knock it out with his wife’s hairy armpit during her time of the month. It was a really odd thought but TnT explored the concept for a while. Travis even demonstrated the possible position on a chair. He banged up his leg doing so. It was quite amusing.

J Medicinehat stopped in studio today and hung out with TnT for a bit. He talked a bit about some of the shows he’s done lately. He hung out for the last few hours of the show and joked with TnT about whatever topic came up. Mushroom Bruise came by today and played a few songs for TnT. Donnie helped them with their version of “Convoy”. He slipped into his best Keith Jackson voice and sang along with the band. I was really surprised at how well Donnie fit into the song. It was very funny. The band will be in the parking lot of the Funny Bone tomorrow helping out with the Rock-A-Thon at around 3pm.
