| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 09-28-1999 Tuesday 9-28-99 Todd and Tyler spent a good portion of todays show discussing Lisa Volinec and her perfect man. Lisa made the mistake of mentioning she went on a blind lunch date yesterday and TnT latched onto it to form it into a topic. The guys asked Lisa about her date and she gave them some vague answers about him. The guys kept pressing and found out that hes not a Husker fan so immediately they liked him. Lisa said he didnt listen to TnTs show so they retracted their good feelings about him. As one could expect, there were several calls from listeners offering to be Lisas boyfriend but Donnie did a good job of keeping most of them out. Ah, the sex life of Lisa Volinec will continue to plague the show until she finds someone to knock it out with. The line is forming and Rumpy will probably be the first in it. The Fish Heads are in need of a new keyboard player for the band and they gave TnT a list of criteria possible candidates had to meet before being considered for the position. The guys read down the humorous list today to see if any of their listeners met the needs/wants of the band. They also spoke to one of the Fish Heads and made arrangements for the band to be in studio on Thursday morning for some real auditions. If you can bang on the keyboard, you could be in the band
unless, of course, youre a former musical director who bailed on a particular radio show in an attempt to score your own radio gig with a lumpy chick (allegedly). Later in the show, Donnie pulled off one of his funniest Pope calls yet. He checked in with the intention of qualifying for the Fish Heads spot and being Lisas date. Surprisingly, the criteria for each were nearly 100% identical! If you missed the Pope call and didnt hear the Fish Heads requirements then you definitely missed out on some serious comedy, people. The guys got into several arguments with their FOX coworkers this morning. Lisa Volinec tried to back up Jackson Brown by saying he never beat up Daryl Hannah when, in fact he did (allegedly). Travis tried to convince them that Crouch didnt quit the Huskers when, in fact he did (allegedly). TnT bashed both of them and argued their points as they have in the past. This really wasnt a huge portion of the show but I thought it was amusing to hear the hosts giving the Fox folks a hard time. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and gave TnT a commentary on the classless Americans beating all of the Euro freaks at golf recently. It was a pretty amusing commentary that bashed Europeans and made countless references to the US bailing them out during WWII. Speaking of Larry, join Todd and Tyler out at the Funny Bone tonight for Z-92 night. The show is sold out tonight but you can still get tickets to see Larry the Cable guy throughout the remainder of the week. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations now! Thats about it for the update today. The show was great today and if you missed it, you should now be caught up. Make sure you come back here tomorrow for the Wednesday version. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy-
