TnT Show 10-07-1999

Thursday 10-7-99

Todd and Tyler spent some time talking about strange sexual fetishes this morning. The topic came about due to a story Lisa read involving a guy who got his leg cut off. The man was into stumps I guess so he hired a doctor to cut his leg off for him. A few days later, the newly stumped guy died in a hotel room. It was an odd story all the way around. Todd and Tyler concluded that there must be more than one freak into stumps because the fetish has it’s own name. It’s called Apatemnophilia or something like that. Later in the show, they found out that there are about 200 people in the USA with the funky fetish. TnT took a lot of calls from listeners telling their strange fetish stories. One lady said she went out with a guy who wanted to twist off over her feet, another guy said he’d dated a girl who wanted to be smacked during sex. Another man told TnT that he overheard the phrase “bark like a dog” through the walls. He said he barked like a dog and it freaked out the people in the act so much that he didn’t hear another word out of them all night. There was even one tale of a man who picked up a girl at a bar, took her home and she requested a Cleveland Steamer. No explanation on that, by the way.

Bluehouse came in this morning and played a few tunes for TnT. They sounded great. The band also teamed up with Corky and did a few ZZ Top songs with some of TnT’s listeners. Corky was horrible and the listeners weren’t amazing either but it was a funny bit nonetheless. If you missed them, you can catch them at Ameristar tonight at 7pm. They’ll also be playing somewhere in Fremont (I believe) over the weekend. Stop by and check them out.

Dave Remington, former Husker, Bangle and Eagle came in studio today to talk some football with TnT. He was a very cool guy and seemed to enjoy being on the show. Dave admitted to skipping out on last weeks Husker game because it was too cold (TnT gave him quite a bit of crap about being such a puss). He told the guys about his days as a Husker and also elaborated many stories from his time spent in the NFL. Dave even slipped in a few dick jokes! His visit lasted several hours.

Jason Dixon from the Funny Bone came in studio for a bit hand hung out with TnT. He didn’t talk all that much because of the quantity of guests TnT had in today but he still seemed to enjoy his time on the show. He was quite funny so I’d suggest you call the Funny Bone at 493-8036 and make yourself some reservations to see him and the other comedians this weekend.

A guy called Rivain came in this morning and played a few songs for TnT. The guys had met him while he was wandering around the parking lot of the Iowa Husker game with a handful of meat a few weeks ago. His friends at the game had ditched him so TnT let him use their grill to fry up his meat. I was surprised when I heard him. He actually sounded really good.

Well, that’s the update for today. Tomorrow is the big cow day so make sure to tune in. There’ll also be Funny Bone guests as well. It should be another great Friday show so don’t miss it. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. –the Alien Guy-
