The show started off rather interesting this morning. Todd was a bit late because he overslept, Tyler talked about having his friends and dad in town, we found out that Donnie screams like a girl when he sees spiders and someone stole Lisa’s pee. Lisa went to the doctor yesterday and had to pee in a cup for some tests. When the nurse went into the bathroom to retrieve the sample, it was gone. Later in the show, the Pope called in and gargled what he called Lisa’s pee. It was rather disturbing.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in pretty early this morning and gave TnT yet another commentary on Oprah. He talked about how some people are trying to push her into a political race and made countless jokes about her being a fatty. Larry will check in again next week with more Oprah smack so stay tuned.

One of TnT’s longtime callers, East Coast Bastard Bob is leaving Omaha soon and going back to the East Cost. TnT had him come in studio for a little fair well today. I really don’t know why they had him in other than the obvious bastard bond between him and Tyler but they brought him in anyway. There wasn’t much response from listeners wishing to bid Bob a grand farewell.

The Mercuries reunited in studio today and played some rock-a-billy music for TnT. They sounded great. TnT gave them a hard time for breaking up and returning back together again like so many Omaha bands have done in the past. If you missed them, they’ll be at the Saddle Creek tonight and tomorrow night. They’ll also be taking part in a benefit on Sunday at the 18th Amendment starting at 4pm. Stop on out and see the show.

TnT tried to get a conversation going about weddings and rings today. They discussed the postponement of weddings, how many times an engagement ring could be used, getting rings back after breakups and several other wedding-related topics. They didn’t get an amazing listener response (only a few scattered calls) but it didn’t matter because the show was full of other things anyway.

Travis called in from the road this morning and gave TnT his Lock of the Week. I have no idea where Travis was driving to; I must have missed something. Anyway, he said to take Iowa State and the 30 some points. He’s not saying the Huskers will lose, he’s just saying they won’t cover the spread. Travis also gave this week’s Box of the Week. And yes, it’s another skank…Alanis Morrisette. Congrads Travis, you’ve picked yet another greasy haired, smelly armpitted, pockmarked ass, Chiclet toothed Euro-skank.

TnT spoke with their buddy Carl Banks again this morning. They propped him up on his appearance on the Drew Carey show and then spent the rest of the call debating racism in Disney movies.

Michael Scott came in today and read the sports for Travis. He seemed to have a good time with TnT. He joined in on the debate about racist Disney movies and seemed to enjoy making fun of the comic guests mentioned below.

Vilmoshe, Slave Boy Chris and Barb were at the Hy-Vee on 96th and Q Street this morning with the Got Milk people and a cow. The guys had the cow’s picture taken with some milk on its upper lip and then tried to get someone to suck on an utter. The cow guy said the utter sucking would be a bad idea because the cow would monster-stomp anyone who tried. It was made very clear that TnT didn’t have anything to do with the cow bit, that whole thing was the idea of a sales guy. The only good thing to come out of the whole thing is that the cow “snotted” a big booger on Slave Boy Chris.

Mary Ann Nichols from the Funny bone came in studio today. She’s 64 and everyone’s answer to Dirty Uncle Harry. Mary Ann was quite funny and spent most of the morning “sopping”. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations.

TnT concluded the show by calling their Rock-tober winner, Mark. Mark works in a church so he couldn’t get too excited about winning. Is November here yet?
