Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show by reading an excerpt from the paper Big Pussy had to write about his internship. TnT seemed surprised that the paper, written by a UNO student, was legible. I believe Big Pussy’s last day will be next Friday so make sure you all call in and give him some love. TnT also played a message left on General Jim’s voice mail from a sexy-sounding young lady saying she loved him. Jim didn’t know who it was and TnT spent some time speculating. The guys called Jim’s voice mail a few times during the early portion of the show and left him some sexy messages of their own. They replayed the call later in the show when Jim came in studio as well.

TnT spoke with Jizell Fernandez from the History Channel today. I have no idea how to spell her name and didn’t have any luck finding it on the History Channel’s web site. Anyway, they discussed a new show she’s doing called “This Week in History”. The guys also talked about her career in journalism, her production company and what it was like being a skinny hippo (or a fat kid).

Todd and Tyler called various small town wind tunnels (convenience stores) all morning long. They wanted to find out, in these slow news times, what the wind tunnel was talking about. They also mentioned a growing trend that they’ve noticed (mostly through the recent hate calls) that the friendliness usually associated with small towns has been replaced by anger. They got a hold of some very nice people around the area that seemed to prove them wrong. They even had some calls from people from small towns professing their town’s love for the TnT show.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and delivered a commentary on the approaching football season. He even read a little poem about it. Tune in next week for more Larry.

Joe and the guys from Blue House came in studio today (even the Rent-To-Own Horns). They played a few tunes and rocked the joint. The appearance was sort of a celebration. Today was the last time the band would play on the TnT show with their “one-nutted” bass player. You can catch Blue House at the Anchor Inn on Sunday. There’s going to be a big family Blues festival taking place all day long. In fact, Terry from the Blues Society (and owner of the 18th Amendment) also stopped in and discussed the event with TnT. Check it out, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Jason Dickson from the Funny Bone came in studio today. He hung out with TnT and joined in on the topics of the morning. Catch Jason at the Bone this weekend by calling 493-8036. I’m sorry but I just don’t have much more to say about Jason’s time on the show. He’s funny, check him out.

Former morning guy at a small AM station, Steve Lundy came in studio today and kind of surprised TnT. I guess he used to be popular in the mornings because Donnie seemed to chub over Steve’s visit to the show. Anyway, TnT talked about local radio and how Steve got fired from the other station. There was also a plethora of Husker talk.

Catch TnT at the Johnny tonight at 5pm. They’re having a Spikes tailgate-like party with Ox 45. Also make sure to get out to I-80 Speedway on Saturday by 4pm to take part in Todd and Tyler’s Cock Ring event. Get out to the Anchor Inn on Sunday for the big Blues festival as well.
