Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show with a little KISS concert review from last night. They didn’t go but Donnie did attend and shared his experience with the guys. They took a few calls from listeners who wanted to talk about the concert as well. The guys also spent a little time talking about items in Danny’s newscast.

Early in the show, TnT discussed how Governor Ventura in Minnesota made a comment on TV about a Minneapolis morning show’s sunken Russian sub song and how he didn’t like it. TnT called the Governor’s office and left him a voice mail asking him to listen to their song and judge which one was funnier. Then they piped the song down the phone, finished up the phone call by providing Jessie their phone number and moved on.

TnT announced the details of their Husker National Championship guarantee this morning. Basically, Todd and Tyler are each putting up $10,000 of their own money and offering it up to one winner if the Huskers do not win this year’s National Championship. They’re going to start qualifying people for the possible drawing next Tuesday. Stay tuned for further details on how you can qualify. As you can imagine, this announcement lead into a bunch of Husker talk and many Husker calls as the show progressed.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and delivered a commentary on how his grandmother recently bought a radar detector. Afterwards, he commented on TnT’s Husker National Championship guarantee. Larry seemed to have a hard time grasping the concept so Todd and Tyler went over it with him again.

Dr. Ed came in studio this morning and hung out with TnT for a bit. He answered a variety of medical questions for the hosts and their listeners. He stayed around for a few hours but had to leave in order to go teach a class. Dr. Ed will most likely be back in about 2 weeks so if you didn’t get a chance to ask him your medical question today, you’ll have another chance in a couple of weeks.

TnT were joined in studio by Bob Malone. He played a few songs for TnT and sounded great! You can catch him at the Ranch Bowl tomorrow, a big blues festival in Tacama on Sunday and he’ll be in Lincoln at the Zoo Bar on September 3rd.
