| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 09-11-2000 Monday 9-11-00 Todd and Tyler started off their show by discussing their big trip to South Bend to see the Huskers take on Notre Dame this weekend. Friday night they went to a Cubs game and later met up with a few World Herald guys and Lisa sister Chris Tyler in a bar. The guys called Lisa and left her a drunken voice mail that evening. This morning, the guys called Lisas voicemail and listened to the message theyd left her, which pretty much consisted of some very funny drunken babbling. TnT also called Lisa to talk about the Huskers and their win. Poor Lisa sounded very tired but still seemed happy to talk to TnT about her favorite team. Later in the show, TnT also called a freaky street musician they met in Chicago who helped them with some directions. They said hi, thanks him for his help again and chatted briefly about their encounter. The guys got an e-mail from someone who was recently in the Corner Food Mart where the $14 million lottery ticket was sold. As you recall, TnT tried to rally for the employee who sold the ticket in an effort to get him a reward of $100,000. It was, after all, his slip-up that caused the winning ticket to be purchased by the winner. Well, when the e-mailer was in the store and mentioned that they had heard the woman behind the counter on the radio, she freaked out and said, I cant believe you listen to them. Theyre dirty, dirty, dirty. The manager also insulted the e-mailer/TnT listener by saying that, basically, the person was stupid for listening. The guys tried to call the Corner Food Mart several times to ask about the encounter described by their e-mailer but no one would answer the phone. They were obviously listening. Todd and Tyler had a follow-up call from Lisa with the DNA Diagnostic Center. A few months ago, the guys offered up a free test to one of their listeners so a woman could try to find out who the father of her child is. Listener Amy asked for the freebie and Lisa checked back in today with the results. TnT reset Amys story, which consisted of a couple of sexual encounters with 2 different men within a 72-hour period. One possible father was in jail for a while and the other hasnt been located. It turns out that the man Amy was able to get a hold of, one of 2 possible contestants for Father of the Year, is not the father of her child. By default, and unless Amy didnt tell TnT something, the other man (whos currently nowhere to be found) is the father of her baby. If youd like to use the services of the DNA Diagnostic Center, call 1-800-DNA-CENTER or visit www.dnacenter.com. TnT are starting off this summers Rock-A-Thon by having a celebrity kickball game on Wednesday night at Chili Greens. They spoke to a few of the participants this morning including a former Husker and soon-to-be doctor, a weather geek that looks like John Luvits and Jack Dahm, coach of the Creighton Bluejays baseball team. It should be fun event so feel free to stop on out and see it. More details will be repeated over the next few days so if you need further information, stay tuned to Todd and Tyler. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary on fondling the JC Penny mannequins. It was a little disturbing but still very funny. He also talked about the Husker game with TnT. Larry will probably check in again on Wednesday so stay tuned. When Travis came in to do the sports, the conversation about Todd and Tylers Husker weekend in South Bend continued. They shared more tales of their weekend and discussed the game with Travis. As you can expect, many calls came in throughout the show from people wanting to talk about the game. Keep in mind that next weekend the Huskers dont play. There will probably be more weddings next Saturday than on any other Saturday from here until January. TnT spoke with Kenny Main of ESPN this morning. They discussed a new sports quiz show that Kenny will be the host of titled The Two Minute Drill. They talked about the idea for the quiz show and Ken detailed some of the specifics. He even had some sample questions for TnT to answer. I believe the show premiers this evening on ESPN so check your local listings for a time. Before Ken left, TnT also asked him about some of the great commercials ESPN does for their Sports Center show. Ken told them about some of the more funny ones and discussed how one he seemed to particularly like was cut short. The guys might get Ken back on the air in the future so keep tuned. Join Todd and Tyler tonight at the Arena Sports Bar for another installment of Monday Night Football. Also keep in mind that TnT will be having a celebrity kick-ball game at Chili Greens on Wednesday night. Make sure to tune in from 5:30 to 10am tomorrow for another show and feel free to check back here for another TnT Show update later in the day. Thanks for watching. Good night. the Alien Guy-
