| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 09-26-2000 Tuesday 9-26-00 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a topic that remained dominant all morning long. They had a list of 100 questions broken up into 5 categories from For Men magazine. The idea of the huge quiz was to give it to your lover to see how much they actually know about you. The guys began by asking Barb a few questions about her man. Tyler took the quiz with his lady Becky on the phone later on. When he arrived, Travis and his lovely wife too the quiz as well. TnT gave a partial quiz to Donnie but seemed more interested in joking with him about whether he knows more about his ex-wife or his current oven, so to speak. The guys gave the quiz to Danny and then called her man to see how well she did. By the way, Dannys last papshmere was in May. Dont ask how or why that came up but I thought it was very valuable information for the listening audience and web page viewers to be aware of. I know Ive probably totally misspelled the word but my spell checker doesnt have it, I cant find it in my UNO dictionary and frankly, Im taking poetic license and spelling the son of a gun as I see fit. I dont have a pie, what can I say
As the show progressed, TnT made a game out of the quiz for their listeners. Women were asked to check in and answer 5 questions and a bonus question. Then, TnT would call her man, or in the case of the lesbian couple who checked in second, her woman. If they answered all of the questions right, they were rewarded with $92 and the knowledge that they know their mate well. Losers were given a prize pack which included a TnT urinal cake. The calls were pretty funny and TnT mixed up the questions for a lot of people. After all, there were about 100 to chose from. Each couples responses, regardless of whether they were right or wrong, were quite entertaining. The calls lasted throughout the entire show so theres really too many to detail. Perhaps some will end up on a Best Of show soon. Stay tuned. The guys spent a little time this morning talking about production slugs, those things at the end of a television show that tell you what company produced it. Todd mentioned he really digs the one after The Practice in which something flies out of a TV and knocked an old woman off her rocking chair to which she replies, You stinker. There were a few other memorable ones mentioned including the typewriter guy who tosses a piece of paper that then forms an SC and the infamous Sit Boo Boo. Sit. Good dog that was scattered all over television in the 80s. Even though they didnt talk about this show or its production slug, my own personal favorite was from the animated show The Critic. The creators changed the slug which was basically an animated movie theater each episode to reflect something the main character, voiced by John Luvits, did during the show. The entire conversation lasted about 5 minutes at the most but I thought it was quite interesting. Perhaps the guys will bring this up again in the future when theyre discussing more television shows. TnT spoke with Allison Westin from the USA Womans Olympic volleyball team again this morning. She checked in just a few hours after their match to inform the guys that they had won. Now the team is going for either a Bronze or Gold depending on how they do during their upcoming matches. TnT also talked to Allison about her upcoming trip to Italy in which she will be playing volleyball professionally. Keep your eye out for Allison on TV. Her number is 18. Well, theres not much more to write about todays show. The guys spent a majority of their time discussing and taking calls on the For Men magazine article. It was a great show today and if you missed it, shame on you. Make sure to tune in from 5:30am to 10am tomorrow and every weekday from here on out to catch the TnT show and later, hit Z92.com and read the update. Thanks for watching. Good night. Corby Bender- |
