Todd and Tyler started off their show today by talking about their weekends. They discussed the Husker game for a while and then Tyler talked about a “Pimp-n-Ho” party he went to. They touched on a variety of other topics early in the show as well which included an exotic animal sighting in western Iowa and Chris Ladue’s search for a new liver.

TnT received yet another hate call from Yutan over the weekend. It was the Freak who took the call this time. The caller, a young woman who claimed to have heard a promo when coming home from her Homecoming, called the Freak to bitch about what she thought she heard. The promo was about Schnabel and the comments made regarding him during a hate call placed by another listener last week. The Freak didn’t seem to have any idea of the whole Schnabel situation and repeated, several times, that he doesn’t even listen to Todd and Tyler because he’s sleeping. The girl bitched about Todd and Tyler’s discussion of the whole situation and demanded an apology for the town of Yutan. At one point in the call, it sounded as if she burped. TnT could only assume that the girl was drunk on Slow Gin. It was, after all, homecoming night. TnT replayed the call throughout the show and took some reaction calls on it as well. The guys also gave the Freak a hard time for not knowing anything about Schnabel. They tried to call him later in the show but he didn’t answer.

Another big topic on the show today was the Get A Life protesters that were scattered all over town over the weekend. Todd and Tyler, big fans of Free Speech, had no problem with people protesting their believes. They did, however, have a problem with all of the parents they saw forcing their young children to accept their believes by making them hold up abortion signs as well. A few callers got through who wanted to talk about the abortion issue but TnT shut them down after a while. They were, after all, not trying to debate the abortion issue. They were just expressing how they believe it’s wrong for people to make their children protest such things. “Let them grow up and make up their own minds.”

When Travis came in, the talk about the protesters heated up again. Travis, claiming to be playing “devil’s advocate”, started spouting off about how children protesting abortion is no different than if a kid was to hold up a “Vote yes on the arena” sign. TnT disagreed but Travis went on. He tried to compare it with the Equal Opportunity Employment issue. Granted, Travis may have been taking the opposing point of view for sake of the argument but he came across a little too sincere in what he was saying. When all the abortion talk was finally put to an end, we found out that Travis’s Lock of the Week came in. He’s now 2-4.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today. He talked a little college football before going into a commentary on how Michael Jackson is going to play Edgar Allen Poe in an upcoming movie. Listen for more Larry as the week progresses.

TnT spoke with Allison Weston this morning. She talked about her time in Australia playing on the US Women’s Olympic Volleyball Team, things she’s been doing sense the games have ended, her brother’s Russian hottie Natasha and her upcoming gig playing pro volleyball for Italy.

Towards the end of the show, TnT called Lisa Volenek to talk about how there’s no mention of her Husker fanaticism on her new TV gig’s web site biography. Lisa didn’t answer so the guys left her a voice mail. Perhaps she’ll call them back. Also relating to Arizona, Slave Boy Jeremy stopped in late in the show to talk about his recent trip there. The guys spent a little more time talking about how Jeremy nailed Rose the Postal Worker. No new details were provided.

Todd and Tyler will be at the Arena Sports bar again this evening for another Monday Night Football party. Make sure you tune in tomorrow from 5:30 to 10am for another TnT show.
