Todd and Tyler started off the show this morning talking about Todd’s vasectomy. Last Wednesday afternoon Todd had the procedure performed on him while Tyler watched and recorded some commentary. To start with, Tyler discussed what he saw and Todd talked about what he felt. Todd mentioned that after the surgery, he washed down 2 of his painkillers with a 40 of Bud Light, a margarita and a bowl. The concoction put him out for a nice “14 hour nap”. It was around that time that Todd’s sperm graced us with an appearance and sang a little ditty to the tune of “Yellow Submarine”. If you missed it, I’m sure they’ll play it again soon.

The guys then brought out the audio clips from last Wednesday. The first clip was of the waiting room. About 10 minutes into Todd’s Valium, you could hear it start to take effect. Later, the partners were sitting in the operating room and Todd was told to remove his pants but leave on his shirt and shoes. Tyler caught a glimpse of Todd’s brown eye and felt obligated to describe it. The shaving of Todd’s sack was yet another commentary provided by Tyler with such detailed descriptions as “a piece of chicken with red Bry sprayed on it”. Once the procedure began, Tyler did a great job of describing exactly how horrible the visual was. Just as a reminder as to how loopy Todd was, when Tyler asked him about the Valium buzz, Todd described it as “heroin and a baby seal”.

After playing the audio clips and discussing them in further detail, Tyler asked Todd if he went against orders (as everyone expected he would) and had sex. Todd said he didn’t but he did “give it a test run” (a Diekman, as far as I can tell). Todd expressed he had “fear of ejaculation” but everything came out just fine, so to speak.

TnT spoke with Jack Youngblood this morning. Jack used to play for the LA Rams. He retired in 1984 and spent some time within the Rams organization. Now Jack is the host of Wal-Mart’s “Great Outdoors” television show that airs on ESPN 2. He spent a little time talking about the show with TnT. Jack also discussed a few aspects of his football career like when he played in the Super Bowl with a broken leg. Jack was a likable guy, albeit a little forgetful, and seemed to enjoy talking with TnT. The guys asked Jack if he’d like to be their correspondent for the NFL playoffs and he seemed interested so we might be hearing from Jack again soon.

Trav came in and handled sports this morning. His Lock of the Week actually came in for him although his Box of the Week was, as always, not a money making pick. He spent some time going over sports with TnT and sounded pretty happy about being called “the only credible “media” member of the Todd and Tyler show” in the World Herald over the weekend. Dani, on the other hand, was absolutely pissed that the writer of the article verbally slapped her in the face with that comment. TnT also discussed another instance in which their show and Dani, in particular, could have been mentioned in the paper again this weekend but they were all shut out.

Tomorrow, Todd and Tyler are having their “List” show. They’re going to bring together a bunch of people from different walks of life and compare their lists of top 20 rock-n-roll bands. TnT are going to determine which of the bands gets tossed out and which stay in an attempt to come up with a solid, good list of the 20 greatest rock-n-roll artists/bands ever. They took some calls for a while from people who wanted to be a part of tomorrow’s show. The guys rounded up quite a diverse group which included a gay guy, a house wife, a mechanic, a cubical monkey, a telemarketer, a couple of lawyers and a black guy who digs rock. Without revealing much detail about their own personal lists, TnT did discuss some of the bands that would absolutely be booted if they appear. Bands like Marilyn Manson, Creed and Huey Lewis & The News will most likely make quick exits. It should be an interesting show tomorrow so make sure to tune in for it.

Later in the program, the guys reset many of the tangents that had come up on the show and they also replayed some of the audio from Todd’s vasectomy. Callers checked in on the list topic, the vasectomy and whatever else the guys discussed.

Join Todd and Tyler tonight at the Arena Sports Bar for another Monday Night Football party. Tonight it’s the Packers and the Panthers. I believe they get under way at about 7pm so make sure to get there for a seat. Monday Night Football usually means a Hangover Tuesday show the following morning.
