Todd and Tyler kicked off this morning’s show by discussing last night’s Z-92 night at the Funny Bone. Uncle Lar, one of TnT’s favorites, headlined the show. Everyone was a little hung over but they were able to work their way through it. Dani seemed like she was a little more than hung over. In fact, it seemed like she did the news drunk. She spilled her drink and mispronounced words. Then again, it’s Dani.

The guys read an article from “For Him” magazine about how to tell when you’re bored with your lover. The article basically discussed ways to tell your relationship might just be over. The conversation seemed to center around how men will struggle to get over a woman they break up with but women can nearly instantaneously get over men they dump even if they told them they loved them the day before. The guys took calls from listeners and continued discussing the issue amongst themselves throughout the show.

The two original members of Acoustic Groove, JR and Gunner, came in studio this morning and played a couple of songs for TnT. It was cool to hear the two guys back together again. If you’d like to see them, they will be performing at Maguire’s Pup on Sunday sometime around 7-7:30pm.

TnT spoke with Burt Jones this morning. The guys spent some time talking about his life now as a lumberjack (he runs a lumber mill or something) and then moved on to discussing his career as a quarterback in the NFL. The guys asked Burt about his picks for the play-offs and he seemed hesitant to offer up any guesses. Eventually he broke down and muttered something about the Giants. Todd didn’t like hearing that because he expects his Vikings to go all the way.

The feature act from the Funny Bone, John De Cass joined TnT today. I have no idea if I’m spelling his name correctly as I can’t find it on http://www.funnyboneomaha.com” target=blank>the Funny Bone’s web site. Anyway, he joined in on the topics of the day which included discussion about his wife and family. John also seemed to have an infatuation with heroin which I found rather amusing. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations to catch John and Uncle Lar this weekend.
