Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with more discussion of their upcoming dodge ball games. They had some changes to announce and then talked about some of the other places they were working on getting things finalized for. They took a few more calls on the air from additional local area schools who wanted to get in on the dodge ball game idea. Further details will be announced for each game as the time approaches.

TnT spoke with police spokesperson Meg Fricky this morning. They spent a little time discussing some items in the news. Afterwards they talked about TnT possibly taking part in Crime Stoppers and the police wanting to play TnT in a dodge ball game. Further details on that will be made available as decisions are made.

The guys received a legal notice from UNL in regards to a personal appearance they were supposed to have tomorrow. The idea was that TnT were going to make an appearance for a soon-to-be opened restaurant. Eric Crouch was supposed to be there too but due to some weird thing with the NCAA, Eric couldn’t come. So the University sent TnT the legal document telling them not to talk about Eric being there anymore. The guys got a kick out of the letter and spent some time talking about it.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and gave TnT a commentary on the Super Bowl. We’ll be hearing more from Larry next week so keep tuned to the Todd and Tyler show.

Chuck Boons, a sports radio guy on TnT’s AM sister station, spoke with TnT today. Chuck does his show out of Washington DC and has been looking for a town to visit for a Super Bowl party. Joe from Blue House and another local guy named Tim convinced him to come to Omaha to check out TnT’s Super Bowl party. TnT talked to him about why he chose Omaha and then talked a little sports.

Gunner and Lash came in this morning and played some acoustic stuff for TnT. They sounded great. If you missed them on the show this morning, they are going to be playing at McGuire’s on Sunday around 7:30.

Rick Gutierrez from the Funny Bone joined TnT this morning. He joined in on the topics of the day, which included a revisit to Wednesday’s discussion about bus drivers and how much pie they get. He also participated in the crank calls TnT made throughout the morning to an unsuspecting guy in a hotel room in Tampa. Rick was incredibly funny and I strongly suggest you call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 to catch him there this weekend. You won’t be disappointed.

Todd and Tyler’s Super Bowl Party is taking place at the Arena Sports Bar on Sunday. The guys will get there about 1pm. Keep in mind that there is no cover to get in, there’s going to be a $5000 prize given to a lucky winner if a team runs back a kick-off for a touchdown and there is going to be a half time butt thong contest with a cash prize as well. Stop on out and see TnT this weekend for the best Super Bowl Party in town.
