Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show discussing a letter to the editor sent to the Missouri Valley Times newspaper about their dodge ball game. The writer of the letter was pissed that the school, West Harrison I believe, allowed Todd and Tyler to help them raise money. She was upset that the school would align themselves with Todd and Tyler based on the subject matter of their show.

TnT called yesterday’s Vegas trip winner. His name was Matt Robinson from Valley. His girlfriend’s too young to go on the trip so Matt is going to take his 24-year-old cousin. He seemed pretty cool and was looking forward to hitting Sin City without his girlfriend. After their discussion, the guys played a clip from today’s Vegas movie of the day.

The guys spent some time going over the brackets they’ve arranged for this year’s March Madmen competition. They detailed the match-ups in the East, Midwest, North and South divisions. As soon as I get the proper spellings of all the names, I’ll be posting the bracket graphic for everyone to view. As the competitions take place, I’ll update the brackets.

A listener named Marcy was this morning’s Todd and Tyler Carl Jarl Dumbass of the day. TnT phoned Carl Jarl and had them send someone out to help her out. Keep in mind that the Todd and Tyler Carl Jarl Dumbass of the day is available to the first listener of the morning who needs Carl Jarl’s assistance during the TnT show. After the show, pay for it you cheap ass.

TnT spoke with Creighton coach Jack Daum today. They talked a little baseball and discussed the current team and how they’re doing.

Early in the morning, TnT sent Big Pussy downtown to find Alex, the homeless man featured in the World Herald a few weeks ago. It didn’t take him long to find the doghouse but Alex wasn’t there. Then Pussy went to one of the shelters to see if he could track down Alex. He was unsuccessful. Then, out of the blue, a Todd and Tyler listener phoned them with an Alex spotting. The listener approached the homeless man and asked him if he’d like to talk with TnT. When he got on the phone, the guys asked him how he felt about their offer to build him an 8X8 shack that he could live in instead of the doghouse he currently resides in. Alex seemed to like the idea. He sounded like a really good guy who just had some trouble and has been down on his luck. Alex detailed his daily routine and even said that he works a couple of days a week. He’s trying to save up money to buy a fixer-upper home in the future.

After the guys spoke with Alex and got his nod of approval for them to have the shack built for him, the guys were overrun by calls from listeners who wanted to offer up various things for Alex’s new home. The kindness of the TnT listeners became evident as they offered things such as flooring, doors, a heater, windows, carpet, couches, bicycles and more. Brain seemed pissed that everyone was “enabling” the guy and complained about how no one ever gave him anything for free. TnT went off on him several times but Brian continued to show that he has no heart. At one point, TnT sent Brian out to pick up a window for the home being built tomorrow just to make him take part in the alleged “enabling” of the homeless man. At around 7am tomorrow, Donnie’s buddies from C&Z Construction as well as a bunch of other callers from today’s show will begin construction of Alex’s new shed in the parking lot of the Z-92 building. Once completed, it will be delivered to Alex.
