Wednesday 5-9-01

The show began today with some discussion over what the guys did last night. Tyler had a little get-together at his house and from all accounts, his back yard was filled with kids. Tyler also talked about a little slip up he had yesterday with his fiancée, Becky. He said that he dropped her off somewhere and went to turn the car around in a semi-circular path. As he did so, he noticed a hottie out of the corner of his eye and swiveled his head to check out the woman. To his surprise, it was Becky that he was checking out, not realizing it was her at first. Thinking that she would see the humor in him checking out his own girlfriend without knowing it, he told Becky about what he had done. She didn’t find it nearly as amusing as Tyler did and turned the focus of the discussion from Tyler’s little brain fart to Tyler’s swivel action and his checking out other women. The guys spent a little time discussing Tyler’s mishap and then went on into the news with Brian.

Dr. Ed came in this morning and spent a few hours hanging out with Todd and Tyler. He answered a plethora of medical questions from the hosts and their callers. Some of the stranger subjects touched on today were hair lips, people with leaky asses, bulging veins, duplexes in one’s pie and the firmness of JP Cruise’s boobs. As always, the Dr. Ed visit was entertaining and informative. Before he departed, Dr. Ed mentioned a big organ donation “community” program thing taking place at Zorinsky Lake on Saturday. Larry the Cable Guy phoned in today and delivered a commentary based on the lawsuit brought by Tom Cruise against the gay porn star. Larry theorized that there was no way Tom Cruise is gay because he was in a Nascar movie (“Days of Thunder”). Keep tuned for more from Larry as the week progresses.

TnT spoke with Creighton baseball coach Jack Daum today. Jack and his team will be taking on the Huskers baseball team tonight at the Johnny. TnT talked with the coach about his team and how he was able to get the Huskers to agree that Creighton would get all the cash from tonight’s game. There’s an estimated 15,000 people who will be attending as apposed to the normal amount. Jack stated that before, their largest crowd was around 4,000.

Todd and Tyler phoned their comedian friend Diana Jordan this morning to get some details on the Robert Blake situation. Robert’s wife was shot in the head recently in a suspicious sounding scenario. Diana lives just around the corner from Robert Blake in Studio City, CA. and she gave TnT the scoop in the neighborhood. The info she provided all seemed to come from her handy man, though. She talked about how freaky Robert’s house and yard is and stated that people in her area believe Robert was somehow involved in his wife’s death. Diana will be back at the Funny Bone soon. Ox 45 came in studio today and played a couple of tunes for Todd and Tyler. They’re going to be opening up for Tesla at Sokol tonight. Stop out and see the show.
