| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-25-2001 Friday 5-25-01 Todd and Tyler started off the show discussing their big golf tournament taking place this afternoon. They were pleased to see that it wasnt going to be 40 degrees and rainy but did think that they might have to deal with a little wind. As I write this, it looks as though they were right. Anyway, Tyler brought in one of the pin prizes he put together to give away today, a handful of adult videos he called the Wolf Puss prize pack. He went over each of the films with everyone and detailed the wonderful storylines and described the performances of the actors and actresses within each film. Rumpy checked in early on to find out if he was still invited to play in the tournament after his slump of bad calls in recent days. The guys phoned Slave Boy Jeremy to see if Rumpys name was on the list but before the got to that, TnT had Rumpys wife pretend to be yet another internet sleaze from Jeremys past. Unfortunately yet finally, after about 10 times, Jeremy came to the understanding that if a woman calls him in the morning and claims to be someone interested in him, its most likely a Todd and Tyler prank call. Rumpy turned out to be on the list and TnT moved on. The guys got a call from a listener who runs http://www.whosyourcaddy.net target=blank>www.whosyourcaddy.net, a company that supplies a limo and hotties to act as your caddy for a day of golfing. He said that he would be bringing his limo and a few of the girls out to Todd and Tylers golf tournament this afternoon. TnT seemed to like the idea and gave the approval. If Im sent a photo, Ill be sure to post it here on the TnT photo page so check back next week some time. Tony came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. During his visit, TnT were discussing a news story about a young Central High student who wasnt allowed to walk on stage during graduation because she didnt have her cap and gown. TnT were of the opinion that she got shafted and should have been able to participate in the ceremony regardless of her attire. After all, you only graduate high school once and to student, graduation day is something that they look forward to for most of their young lives. Todd and Tyler felt bad for the girl because she wasnt allowed to participate and thought OPS was absolutely wrong in their decision to not allow her on stage. Well, the girls name was a bit unique and the guys pondered the origin. Then they received a phone call from a young black woman who informed them of where the girl from the news story most likely got her name; it is the name of a rare spice. Todd and Tyler spent a little time discussing how the African American community is more creative with coming up with names for children and joked about how white people dont have any originality, as youve got a billion Mikes or Todds in the world. They talked with Tony about the whole unique names thing and then moved on. Shortly after TnT had moved to a different discussion, they were informed that their program director was getting a bunch of angry calls from relatives of the young lady in the news story. They were all upset at Todd and Tyler for making fun of the girl. TnT explained that they didnt make fun of her or her name and tried to reiterate that they simply discussed interesting names in the African American community. They also restated that they supported the young lady and believed she should have been allowed on stage at her own graduation. TnT were, of course, quite upset that people were accusing them of something they didnt do and expressed their displeasure with people who hear their show second or third hand and think they know what TnT are actually saying. They were given the phone number of the girl in the story and tried to call her directly to explain what they had and had not said but, unfortunately, the girl and/or her mother didnt answer the phone when the guys called. Before the whole issue of the girls name and the calls from pissed off parents, friends and/or family started to come in, TnT had a discussion about the Omaha Public School system in general with Travis. When Attaboy Trav had heard about what the school had done to the girl, he angrily expressed his displeasure with OPS. His anger didnt seem to stem from just this one issue. In fact, from the sounds of it, Attaboy has had a severe problem with OPS for some time now. He went as far as to call the building in which the administrators work a castle and made several other comments that could only be construed as negative towards OPS. Todd and Tyler thought he was just pimping the superiority of a private school over a public school in an attempt to weasel a free Catholic school education or 5 for his children. Mark Gross and Paul Wiess from the Funny Bone stopped in this morning and hung out with TnT for about an hour. Mark spent some time talking with Todd and Tyler about his career out in LA. He has tried out for a few television pilots and has also auditioned for movie rolls. On top of that, Mark has become pretty friendly with the people over at The Tonight Show and shared a few Jay Leno tidbits with TnT. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations. Cheshire Grin came in studio and played several live tunes for Todd and Tyler. They also spoke over the phone to the guys from the Fish Heads. The two bands have arranged a small contest between each other that will take place at the Rockin On The River bash Sunday at 4pm with Todd and Tyler at the Anchor Inn. Cheshire Grin is going to play the Fish Heads instruments and do a reggae tune and the Fish Heads are going to use Cheshires gear to pull off a rock tune. Also, the two bands are going to have another battle of the boobs contest and see which band can entice female audience members to show the most breasts during their performances. It should be a good time for all and Todd and Tyler look forward to seeing you all at the Anchor Inn Sunday at 4pm. The fence opens at 1pm, by the way, and bring enough cash to cover your alcohol and the $6 cover. Well thats the update for Friday. Join Todd and Tyler at Shrier Mazda on Saturday at 11am and then Sunday at the Anchor Inn at the 1pm fence opening, 4pm show start to the Rockin On the River bash. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
