Todd and Tyler began this morning’s show by discussing a variety of topics including the continuing rainy weather. The guys said that it is supposed to be nicer this weekend and they’re both looking forward to it. Brian came in and read the news, which lead into a discussion about the President’s twin daughters and their recent trouble with the law for trying to buy alcohol with a fake ID. As they talked about it, TnT posed an interesting question. If given the opportunity to knock it out with a set of twins, would you rather the twins be fraternal or identical? They thought it would be interesting to see if two women who look 100% identical would act different in bed. They also pondered the possibilities of being with fraternal twins because, basically, you would feel as though you were with 2 women instead of just one as they figured would be the case with a set of identical twins.

During Brian’s newscast, he read a disturbing story about a woman who was scalped when her hair got a little too close to a large, industrial machine. Well, from there the show took a sharp turn down “Few Tangent Alley” as countless phone calls came in from listeners with graphic tales of industrial accidents. There were horrible stories of “hamburger fingers”, people with chainsaw-marked legs, one guy had his feet burned off by 900 degree lead, an old farmer had his clothing snatched off his body by a farm implement that also took his scrotum away and the calls went on and on. There’s really not much more to say about the topic other than to point out that it lasted a great while, generated many interesting calls and made me twitch occasionally when a disturbing mental image was pushed into my head through my headphones.

With the College World Series just around the corner, Todd and Tyler wanted to talk with their buddy Chad from Ticket Express. When he joined them on the phone, Chad spent some time talking with the guys about the prices of CWS tickets and the affect the Husker baseball team is having on them. TnT talked about the ticket price increase and some other aspects of the CWS and the Huskers possibly getting there. Also, before the end of his call, Chad discussed some tickets he has for summer time shows in Kansas City. Larry the Cable Guy came in studio today and hung out with Todd and Tyler for a few hours. During his visit, he and Donnie went to separate rooms and did a little “Dueling Larrys” for Todd and Tyler. Larry actually let Donnie read one of his commentaries while, at the same time, reading it himself. Donnie’s impression of Larry is frighteningly accurate and it was hard to tell which one was which at times. You can catch Larry at the Funny Bone through the weekend. Towards the end of the show, the guys played an audio clip of their Program Director and Z-92’s afternoon jock Bruce Patrick reciting some haikus. Earlier Todd had received a list of mullet-related haikus and they had Bruce Patrick read and record them. When they played the audio, it was hilarious!
