Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show discussing a plethora of things as they normally do. Brian W. Houston came in and did the news for the guys and was forced to discuss more dead kids in the news due to the twisted woman in Texas who drowned her 5 kids. The story didn’t bring the show down, however, because one of TnT’s favorite butt kickers came by early.

Professional boxer Dicky Ryan arrived in studio this morning and hung out with Todd and Tyler for a couple of hours. He will be fighting a guy named Andy Sample at Ameristar on Sunday night and stopped by the show this morning to talk about it. Not only did Dicky discuss the fight, but he also told several stories about his meter reading job. He recapped the infamous pooch knockout story and then told TnT about a time in which he slipped on the ice about 10 times before finally giving up and taking his 15-minute break while laying on the ground in front of some lady’s house. As always, Dicky was hilarious, even though he didn’t seem to know he was being so funny. Make sure you catch him at the Ameristar on Sunday night. Bryn Gurtus, the Public Relations Director of the gay rodeo joined the show this morning. The rodeo is taking place in Springfield on June 30th and July 1st. Todd and Tyler started off by feeling Bryn out to see what sort of reaction she might have to the typical Todd and Tyler show fodder relating to homosexuals. To their surprise and delight, Bryn gets the show and was even quite funny! TnT got further details on the events of the gay rodeo and then spent some time talking with Bryn about the various rodeo organizations involved in such events. They also talked about several of the benefits money raised by the rodeos goes to. As the show moved on, TnT asked Bryn if she would do sports for them, as they’ve been trying to rally up a gay person to do sports all week. She accepted their request and did a great job reading sports. Darrell Joyce from the Funny Bone came by the Todd and Tyler show this morning and hung out for a bit. Darrell joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a good time on the show. Before the big Dicky Ryan fight at Ameristar on Sunday night, Donnie is going to have an exhibition match with Journal Broadcast Group’s Spanish station’s morning jock, Jose (a.k.a. Bogus Tequila in the morning). TnT brought in Jose to talk about the fight in which both he and Donnie will be wearing oversized gloves so no one gets hurt. As TnT and Donnie found out, the oversized gloves might not make any difference because Jose has been boxing ever sense he was a kid growing up in Mexico. The guys spent some time talking with Jose about his boxing knowledge and boxing in general. Later in the visit, they spent some time talking about Oscar De La Hoya’s music career. TnT played one of Oscar’s songs and it didn’t sound too bad. The group then discussed how Mexico hasn’t really embraced the pretty boy De La Hoya because they feel he has no heart. Stop on out to Ameristar and watch Donnie get the snot knocked out of him by a Mexican radio station morning guy on Sunday night. It should be fun.
