Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show by discussing an interview in Omaha Magazine with the four local TV station’s weathermen. One of the weathermen claimed that, statistically, most people tune into local television news for the weather. TnT disagreed and then discussed the photo in the magazine, trying to figure out which mixed drinks that appeared on the table went with which weatherman. The guys then moved on to talking about some items in Brian’s newscast. Even though Brian was sick, he still came in today because Dr. Ed was going to be there. Brian brought in a handful of flashlights for Dr. Ed to use to examine him so Brian wouldn’t have to make a trip to the doctor’s office. They later found out that Brian might have Mono so make sure you don’t kiss the mower and joker mower and joker this week.

Heavy C from the Nuclear Bees came in this morning and hung out with TnT. He wanted to promote their appearance at the Cheshire Grin CD release party taking place today at the Anchor Inn. The Bees will take the stage around 4:30 followed by Moon Juice, Star 69, Head Space and Cheshire. Stop on out there today and get your Independence Day celebration started off right!

The guys celebrated the 4th of July this morning by having Donnie light off some M-80-like fireworks in the bathroom right across from the studio. He placed two of them inside a metal trashcan and put a microphone near. The explosions, followed shortly after by a cloud of smoke rolling down the hallways of the mighty Z, made for very impressive audio. TnT played the sound effect several more times throughout the show.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary that was actually some alternative words for an old Donnie Horton song about taking a trip in 1814. It was pretty funny and you might be able to catch it re-aired on tomorrow’s “Best Of” show so tune in.

During Travis’s time on the show, he mentioned that he would rather see the Pope or go to Wimbledon and watch tennis instead of knocking it out with the very hot wife of one of the tennis players. TnT spent some time trying to convince Attaboy Trav to change his mind but Travis wouldn’t do it. This morning’s discussion is yet another example of how whacked Attaboy Travis can be when it comes to his opinions on sexy, famous women.

Dr. Ed came in today and hung out for several hours. He answered a plethora of questions ranging from how overrated vegetables may or may not be, the seriousness of different types of tumors, the effects of smoking and more. Before he left, he reminded Todd and Tyler that his wife is going to be having a baby in about a week so the next time the guys see Dr. Ed, he’ll be a new father again.

The guys wrapped up this morning’s show by discussing their upcoming trip to Ceresco on Friday. They took some calls from the people around the area who plan to attend, including the mayor, and talked a bit about the event and the town itself. The Nuclear Bees will be there with TnT so it should be a great party.

TnT will be appearing in the annual Ralston parade tomorrow. They will not be on the air but will return Thursday morning. Tune in again on Thursday and Friday as TnT prepare to head to Ceresco. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
