TnT started off the show this morning by discussing the upcoming release of Father Herrick. The little boys wrestling on the alter video was mentioned several times during TnT’s rants against the release of the sick pud. They talked about sending Big Pussy dressed as Angus Young, a schoolboy outfit, down to the prison for the release of the Father in order to tempt him. They also spent some time reading a bit more from the website of Thunder Collins. As the show progressed, they revisited the Thunder Collins website several times reading the humiliating text of the site.

Brian came in and did the news, which was full of more information on Father Herrick. He also reported on the guy who got busted for robbing a bunch of small businesses in the area. Along with the crime reports from Brian, Black Tony came in studio early in the morning and hung out with TnT for a bit. TnT had him recite the Thunder Collins Story from Thunder’s web site.

The guys got a new Tony Bologna song today. The song was about the TnT billboard and it’s bad placement. TnT joked about the timeliness of the song, considering their billboard has been up for several months and they haven’t really expressed their displeasure with its location for quite some time. The song itself was horrible yet funny, as to be expected, but as with any Tony Bologna song, it was pretty amusing listening to TnT’s reaction of it. Before they played the song, they got a call from someone saying the billboard wasn’t up any longer, which further emphasized the timeliness of the song.

The producer of Fear Factor, Matt Counick phoned TnT. The guys mentioned right off the bat that a lot of the stunts on the show seem to be take-offs of radio stunts performed over the years for Bon Jovi tickets. Matt seemed to agree and then went on to explain how they got the ideas for some of the stunts, the various contestants, they talked about the host and more. The guys even found out all about the behind-the-scenes stuff relating to the funky bug eating stunts that have aired so far. It turns out that as long as the producer can prove to some standards board at the network that the creature the contestants will ingest is considered a delicacy somewhere in the world, they don’t have any problems getting things cleared. It was a pretty cool interview which may lead TnT into getting another interview with the host of the show in the future. Stay tuned.

Chris “Boom Boom” Johnson from the Funny Bone came in and hung out with TnT. He joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a good time.

3D stopped by the show and played a couple tunes for TnT. They’re going to play in the Battle of the Bands on Saturday at the Anchor Inn. On Monday morning, Todd and Tyler will be announcing which of the 4 bands won the contest and will be opening up this year’s big Z Bash 2001 at Levi Carter park on August 18th.
