Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show by reading another hate letter sent to them by an ex-listener from Fremont. They believed they had spoken to the author of the letter in the past and, surprise, the guy still “sure in the hell” doesn’t like their “program”. Also early in the show, TnT talked about some of the names of local television newscasters. They pondered why news people with strange or hard to pronounce names don’t simply change their names to something a bit more broadcast friendly.

The guys also spent some time discussing Rainbow’s article this morning about a man who is trying to market an anti-abortion doll. The doll has writing on her tummy that says something to the effect of “baby’s first home” and when you open her belly up, a diapered baby can be pulled out. When the belly button of the baby is pressed, it speaks and thanks it’s mom for making the baby. TnT joked about the concept and then played some audio of their own idea, the “partial birth doll”. If you missed the audio of TnT’s partial birth doll this morning, you’ve got to tune in tomorrow to hear it. It was great, disturbing, and yet very funny.

Before Brian’s newscast, Donnie had handed him a story to look over because it had a funny title. Donnie thought it might be a good story based on that title and gave it to Brian to read over. Well, Brian didn’t pre-read the story and, therefore had no idea what it was about when he read it on the air. It turns out that the story was how teenage girls in Japan are not changing their underwear and are becoming stinky and disease-ridden. It was a horrible story and pretty disgusting in some parts. TnT gave Brian a pretty hard time about not pre-reading the article before putting it on the airwaves. You would think that all of TnT’s comments and slams on Brian for not pre-reading his news before verbally stumbling over his printed Internet stories each morning might prompt Brian to step up a bit and do something about his newscasts. Considering they’ve seemed to be on his case about it for several months and nothing has changed other than the recent lack of dead kid stories, their prods towards Brian don’t seem to be entirely effective. TnT spent some time discussing some strange, funny sex stories printed in the newest Maxim magazine today. They also opened up their phone lines to any listeners who had similar stories to share. Calls came in throughout the show from people sharing tales of seizures during sex, head butt injuries, getting one’s penis slammed in a drawer, a condom in dad’s coffee cup, pooping on a couch and much more.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and delivered a commentary on the need for “dumbass exits” on interstates. Basically, Larry said that he was on the way to the store to buy tampons, which he would use to clog up a leaky septic tank when he spotted a billboard with a hot lady on it. He began to twist one off and the next thing he knew, he had missed his exit. Having a “dumbass exit” shortly after the real exit might have saved him a 20-mile turnaround trip. Towards the end of the show, TnT spoke with Deb Ward from Channel 3. She just did a story featuring women testing out Via Cream. Deb said that she had heard TnT say they wanted her to test it out but instead of Deb actually using the product, she ran a news story about it. The guys talked about Deb’s package and a bit more about the Via Cream product. TnT will probably speak with Deb again in the future, as she’s a really cool lady, so stay tuned.
