Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by playing some very old sound clips recorded from when they first arrived in town. Many of you may remember the old Im so-and-so and Todd and Tyler are neat guys spots that used to run throughout the TnT show back in the old days. Well, the guys brought out a few of those old clips again and had a nice moment of reminiscing while playing them. TnT also spent a bit of time discussing items in Brians newscast, their weekends in general and, of course, the Husker game that took place on Saturday. The guys seemed very unimpressed by the Huskers performance. Tyler received a pyramid scheme-ish form letter in the mail recently and brought it in today to share with us all. The letter said that The guys wanted to get a bit further into the details of the scheme. They picked up the phones and spent about a half hour dialing information trying to locate any of the five people on the list that Tyler was supposed to send $1 to. They got a hold of an old, deaf guy in TnT spent a little bit of time trying to work out details of a Todd and Tyler 3-Some club after getting a follow-up call from the man who inspired their 3-some talk show last week. The guys spoke with that man and his wife who said that she wasnt entirely apposed to letting her husband jump in with her and another woman. She just didnt want her husband to bang away on the other lady, just her. Further details of the Todd and Tyler 3-Some club may become available in the future. You are urged to phone the TnT show and discuss the club, its concept or 3-somes at any time. 962-1200 or 1-800-955-9230 or FAX: 596-WHAT or e-mail todd@z92.com. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary on the Little League World Series. Larrys basic take on the whole thing seemed to center on the how the team representing the When Travis came in this morning, the guys spent a bit of time discussing the Husker game. TnT were of the opinion that the Huskers didnt look very good. Travis was at a wedding so he didnt actually get to watch the game. During the discussion, TnT fielded two hate e-mails. One referenced TnTs discussion over the unproven Husker Thunder Collins. The other hate e-mail was from someone who was very upset at comments Travis made earlier in the show about how the only decent band to watch in the Big 12 is Texas A&M. The author of the e-mail mentioned how hard the UNL band works but it didnt seem to phase Traviss opinions on the magnitude of awesomeness exhibited by the Texas A&M squad. By the way, Traviss Lock of the Week didnt come in. Later in the show, TnT reintroduced the discussion about the pyramid scheme letter As TnT wrapped up the show this morning, Travis spent a few moments working out the details for Brians Borrow A Buck infomercial. Donnie produced a commercial for the Send Donnie A Dollar program. After TnT aired the commercial, they spent a bit of time analyzing the wording Donnie had used in the script to make sure that they werent breaking any laws by soliciting their listeners for dollar bills. It was pretty funny stuff. Im sure well hear more about the scheme in coming days so stay tuned. Well, thats about it for the Monday update. Tune in tomorrow from 5:30am to
