Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing some things in the “Barely a Pulse” from the World Herald. It seems that there are still some people who have never heard of sprinkler systems in buildings and are going off the hysteria surrounding the old movie “Towering Inferno”. These people don’t want the big hotel built downtown because they fear it would be harder to escape a fire in the larger building as apposed to one with fewer floors. Both Todd and Tyler were amused, yet upset by the stupidity. They also talked a bit about another letter that complained about Ben Nelson’s recent safari hunt. The guys spent a bit of time talking about last night’s Z-92 Night at the Funny Bone with the Untamed Shrews as well.

Brian came in and did the news, which was full of stories about cock fighting. During the newscast, BW did a story on a man from Ontario, Canada whose scrotum was torn off by his wife after she attacked him for beating up on his kids. Todd, Tyler and Donnie all gave Brian a hard time after he mispronounced “Ontario”. They ranted on him throughout the remainder of the show for sounding like a certain old news chick who mispronounced a word every 20 seconds. Interestingly, though, when Tyler mispronounced the word “intestines”, pronouncing it “intesteens” later in the show, no one seemed to catch it.

Greg Wagner from the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission phoned TnT this morning. Greg is the Chief Public Information Officer for this area and had a radio program that airs on 590AM and 1490AM, as well as doing some stuff for Channel 6. The guys spent some time talking about outdoorsy things like hunting, fishing, canoeing and more. Tyler seemed to be in hell during the conversation but it was obvious that Todd had a raging chubber. Towards the end of the conversation, Tyler asked Greg if he was safe riding his bike around the lake near his home. Greg warned Tyler that there was a possibility that he could be eaten by a mountain lion at any given moment.

TnT spent some time discussing an article that appears in the most recent FHM Magazine. The article was about the 100 mightiest sex facts guys should know and covered things such as the largest penis size recorded, the average number of sexual partners of men and women, data on the cheating ratio of men to women and a variety of other sex-related facts.

TnT spoke with the head coach of the UNO Maverick football team, Pat Burns this morning. They discussed why tonight’s game is taking place at 8pm and then moved on to talking a bit about UNO’s team, as well as the competition they are up against this season. Pat was very cool and seemed to enjoy his time with TnT. The guys said that they would be in contact throughout the season so I’m sure we’ll hear more from coach Burns in the future.

The Untamed Shrews came in this morning, along with Sean Gnant from the Funny Bone. The ladies hung out and joined in on the topics of the day. They gave Attaboy Travis a hard time for being so fertile and then focused their attentions to making Sean feel about >< this big. Before the end of the show, one of the countless men Marge has nailed had her sister phone the show and confirm their sexual encounter, which occurred in the parking lot of the Funny Bone the last time the Shrews were in town. Towards the end of the show, TnT phoned Bill Randby to talk about how he mentioned them during last night’s newscast. TnT had gotten a call from a listener yesterday wondering why the pollen count in Council Bluffs is always significantly higher than in Omaha. The guys had mentioned that they didn’t know. Well, someone over at Channel 7 heard their discussion and passed it along to Bill, who then brought it up and gave an explanation during the news. It turns out that the reason the pollen counts differ is most likely due to their placement, geographically.

Before TnT let the Randby’s go, they spoke with Bill’s wife, Julie. Julie sang a little ditty about Jell-O and then TnT replayed her their recent newscaster farting bit that they did a few days ago. That rant was inspired by a Julie Cornell on-air sneeze. After the guys had played it, they got Julie and Bill’s reaction. They were both very amused. From the sounds of it, that particular recording may end up on the next CD TnT put out so we all have that to look forward to.
