| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 08-31-2001 Friday 8-31-01 The guys started off this mornings show by discussing Tylers new Direct TV system. He seemed quite excited about the fact that he now has penetration on demand. Having only had the soft-core porn with his previous cable provider, this new satellite television system provides actual porn at the touch of a button. Todd took a moment to phone his girlfriend and apologize for being a dick this morning after locking his keys in his truck. He seemed much cheerier by the time he got on the air and it was pretty cool to here him apologize for his early morning assholeness. TnT then spent some time discussing items in the news and preparing their listeners for all of the things their show had to offer today. Todd and Tyler spoke with Senator Ben Nelson this morning. Someone who was mad at him for going on an African safari and killing some beasts recently chastised Ben in the Barely A Pulse. Ben spent a good portion of the conversation sounding much like a politician, saying how everyone (including himself) must respect the views of other people. He then went into some detail about his trip to Africa and how he stalked and executed the deadly King of the Jungle, a lion, as well as some other creatures. TnT also talked with Ben about the political system in Africa as well as asking Ben how he likes his current position in the Senate. Mr. Nelson was super cool and seemed to enjoy his time with TnT. Well most likely hear more from Ben on the Todd and Tyler show in the future so stay tuned. The guys got off onto a huge tangent this morning about Canadian musicians during one of Brians reports. They spent some time discussing various bands and artists that were from Canada. Lots of listeners phoned in during this portion of the show and helped TnT out by contributing the names of other bands TnT had forgotten about. The guys played a few song clips from some of the mentioned bands, including Triumph, Gordon Lightfoot and April Wine. The conversation was drawn to a close once the guys started getting too many repeat suggestions over the phone but not before the obligatory McKenzie Brothers gho-gho-gho-gho-gho-gho-gho-ghoooooo battle cry was slipped into the show. I laughed so hard I pooped myself. TnT spoke with their buddy Chad from Ticket Express (398-1999) about how well the Husker tickets are selling. He said he still has plenty left and you can get further details at his new web site http://www.huskertickets.com target=blank>www.huskertickets.com. Chad was a bit upset with Travis for giving the phone number to the UNL ticket office yesterday instead of giving his phone number for TnTs listeners ticket needs. Travis copped to his mistake and thanked Chad for buying a few commercials that will air during Traviss Big 12 pre-game show tomorrow before the Husker game. I believe that is all to air on KXVO, Channel 15 at 11am, but check your local listings to be sure. Make sure that you dont miss Traviss pre-game show! He worked his chubby little butt off to produce one fine piece of broadcasting. Speaking of Travis, he came in this morning to do sports and afterwards, he did his Lock and Box of the week. Attaboy has chosen Colorado State +4 taking on Colorado. For his Box of the week, Travis selected the Untamed Shrews. Yes, the Untamed Shrews joined TnT in studio again this morning. Prior to their arrival, TnT wanted to find out something they could talk with the Shrews about besides sex. After all, the ladies must have other interests besides getting nailed and dildos. When the ladies arrived, TnT found out that they enjoy a variety of other things, including Art Bells radio show, tools and remodeling and making Mid-Evil boots. As you can imagine, when Travis announced the pair as his Box of the Week selection, they mounted him on either side and began to dry hump him feverishly. Before the end of the show, Travis officially had booby wood going on, as the Shrews had attacked his nipples. Catch the Shrews at the Funny Bone all weekend. Call 493-8036 for reservations. Slave Boy Jeremy came in studio for a bit this morning and talked with TnT about a UFO he had seen last night while sitting on his porch drinking beers with his buddies. He detailed what he saw but no one seemed to believe him. A few callers checked in on the subject as well but they were about as credible as a tick-tack in an egg shell
I have no idea what that means
. To wrap up the show, TnT had a conversation with Gary Miller from ESPN. Yesterday, Gary was witness to a pre-fight wrestling match between two boxers, Rockman, the current champ and Lewis, the former champ. The two had bickered on a radio show earlier in the day where Rockman dropped the gay card on Lewis. During the taping of the pre-fight press conference, the two got into a brawl and ended up rolling around on the floor. Gary said that he tried to stop the skirmish but there was no way he was strong enough to break up the two monster fighters. He went into some further details about the event and realized that what had happened will probably be a very historical event, much like the similar event between Frasier (I believe) and Ali years ago when Howard Cosell. Gary was very cool with the guys and Im sure well hear from him again in the future. Well, thats the update for today. Tune in on Tuesday morning for another show and then check back here in the afternoon for an update. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
