Monday 9-4-01

Todd and Tyler started off their Mental Monday show this morning discussing their big Labor Day weekends. Todd went http://www.gliddencanoerental.com/” target=blank>canoeing and camping while Tyler stayed around town and enjoyed his new satellite TV system. Brian came in and did the news and TnT spent some time discussing shark attacks, the Omaha World Herald’s new look (yet same old writers), the freakish media coverage of the Huskers, as well as the game itself.

Kevin McKenzie from the Great Plains Counseling Center joined TnT in studio this morning. He spent a few hours with the guys taking some phone calls and discussing a variety of mentally related problems including road rage, gambling and relationships. Throughout his visit, it became increasingly clearer that Kevin is a huge Husker freak. TnT offered to counsel Kevin on Saturday night after the upcoming Husker Vs. Notre Dame game if the Huskers happen to fall. Kevin will be back in a few weeks so stay tuned. In the mean time, you can reach the Great Plains Counseling Center at 292-7712.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary on how he went to a bar to watch the Husker game on Saturday and ran into some people who had taken over the TV to watch a tennis match. Larry will check in again as the week progresses so stay tuned.

Travis came in this morning to do sports before heading back down to Lincoln for the Tuesday Husker press conference. He’s now 0-2 for his Lock of the Week. The guys spent a bit of time talking about Travis’s pick as well as other things taking place in the world of sports. Another Lock and Box of the week will be announced on Friday so make sure to tune in.

The guys spent some time today discussing an article in a magazine that listed close to 100 things women should not make their men give up. TnT didn’t have time to go through the whole list but they did converse about each of the items they were able to mention. They also discussed with Kevin how women sometimes treat their men as a project and try to change them, along the lines of things listed in the article.

Towards the end of the show, TnT spent some time brainstorming ideas about how to dress up Big Pussy. The concept came about after they heard that Victor Putz was recently spotted in Bellevue’s Washington Park area with two 12-year-old girls, one of which he had sexually assaulted in the past. The guys thought it might be amusing to dress Big Pussy up like a 12-year-old girl, send him to the park and see if he could lure Putz out. The mental image of Big Pussy dressed in a Brittany Spears schoolgirl outfit very well may have killed every sexual fantasy I’ve ever had about the pop star but I’m starting to think of the Big P in a whole new light…

TnT concluded their show today by announcing the new Todd and Tyler cups that will be available at all Eddy’s Conoco locations starting tomorrow. TnT will be out at the Council Bluffs location at some point tomorrow to kick off the promotion. Tune in tomorrow for further details.
