Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing some changes in radio made on the AM side of the dial. It seems that a bunch of the AM people are changing from one station to another and that amused TnT. The guys also had another session of ”5 minutes with Chris”, where they all discussed some items in the news. One of those items talked about was how Fox’s newscast last night was panic mongering in regards to the threat of biological warfare by showing video clips of the quarantine scenes from the movie “Outbreak”. Donnie came in early this morning and spent a bit of time discussing the goliath stripper he hung out with last night at the American Dream. He confirmed that she was indeed a very tall chick.

Todd and Tyler announced that their first CD, “Greetings From Throckmorton” was being re-released in Omaha and Lincoln Homers music stores today! The cost is still only $10 so if you haven’t scored yourself a copy of the CD yet, get your ass to Homers pronto. TnT also mentioned that their second CD, “Wood Eye” would be coming out in about a month, followed up a month later by CD #3 titled “Hair Lip”, the sequel to “Wood Eye”. We’ve got lots of stuff to look forward to in the coming months so start saving your pennies now folks.

While discussing the release dates of their CDs, Tyler glanced at the calendar and noticed that today, September 28^th is exactly one year from the day he will be getting married next year. You could literally hear him sweating as he came to the realization. It was very funny. Tyler’s fiancée Becky phoned in and elaborated further on Fox’s “Outbreak” video last night, as she witnessed the same thing. She also discussed the idea of having a “pre-anniversary” celebration because of the significance of today’s date.

Jeff Schrier from Schrier Ford came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. He joined in on the topics of the day and also discussed the big auto sales convention that is taking place in New Orleans, which will conflict with the Super Bowl. He talked about the convention a bit, although he didn’t go into too much detail on air about how crazy things can get when you get a bunch of car salesmen together. Jeff also spent a bit of time discussing a big 0 % financing event that is taking place over the next few weeks at Schrier Ford. Swing by Schrier Ford off of HWY 50 & the Interstate.

Travis came in this morning to do sports and also filled us in on his selection for Lock of the Week and Box of the Week. His Lock is the Sooners – 4 against K. State. He selected all the women of the Taliban as his Box of the Week.

Peter Dante joined Todd and Tyler this morning for several hours. He’s in town to take part in the Special Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament that is going on in Council Bluffs tomorrow at Dodge Park around 10am. He spent some time talking about his acting career, including how he got his start, working on “The Larry Sander’s Show”, being Brad Pitt’s assistant, meeting Adam Sandler, working with Adam Sandler on countless movies, other people attending the tournament and much, much more.

At one point, TnT tried to phone Peter’s hotel room at Harvey’s. They ended up speaking with a receptionist named Michelle who wouldn’t ring Peter’s hotel room phone, as she had been instructed not to, but it didn’t really matter because she was pretty cool with TnT. Later, Peter spoke with RJ from the Fish Heads, who will be playing at Harvey’s tonight. He invited Peter to join them on stage and Peter accepted the offer. It might be worth it to head over to the Fish Head’s show this evening!

Peter was also scheduled to appear on the Channel 3 noon newscast today. TnT phoned Channel 3 to find out who Peter would be going on TV with. It turned out to be Mary Williams. The guys were put through to Mary’s office but she was not there. TnT had to settle for leaving Mary a lengthy, humorous voice mail message.

Peter Dante was great to listen to this morning with TnT and everyone seemed to have an excellent time. Make sure you head to Harvey’s tonight to see Peter sing with the Fish Heads. Also, don’t forget about the Special Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament taking place at Dodge Park in Council Bluffs tomorrow at 10am.
