| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 11-07-2001 Wednesday 11-7-01 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing some of the television programs that aired last night. NYPD Blue, one of TnTs favorite dramas, had its 2-hour season premier last night. Danny, the Rick Shroder character from the last few seasons, was found dead and his replacement, the actor who played Zack on Saved By The Bell, made his first appearance as Dannys replacement. Also an early morning discussion, TnT had some reaction to yesterday mornings show. Many of the female callers who checked in during their conversation about abusive relationships seemed to have the opinion that if a woman hits a man, that man has a right to hit the woman back. TnT expressed their disagreement with that idea throughout much of yesterdays show and continued talking about it during the early-morning segments today. In various towns across the nation yesterday, people took to the voting booths to elect mayors. Council Bluffs was one of the cities and, as Todd and Tyler reported today, their voter turnout was pretty low. After spending some time debating the population of the city, which varied anywhere from 40,000 to 60,000, it was clear that less than 10,000 people actually went to the polls. The guys wondered why the voter turnout was so low for Council Bluffs, and the only conclusion they could draw was that people in Council Bluffs just dont care who runs their city. TnT read over a few e-mails this morning. The first was someone who likes their show, while the second was from someone that doesnt. The hate e-mail started off by declaring that it was not a hate e-mail but by the time Tyler read the entire thing, it was clear that the author didnt like much about the TnT show. The guys were suspicious that whoever wrote the e-mail might be someone with experience in the radio industry but they didnt explore their suspicions any further. As for the content of the letter, the e-mailer seemed to complain about everything and everyone involved with the show, with the exception of Tyler. The e-mailer also complained about how Todd and Tyler never discuss what happened to their old news chicks. That seemed to piss the guys off. The fact is, they have talked about their old news chicks several times over the past few years but if you dont listen to the whole show, its possible to have missed the conversations. So today, once again, TnT discussed the fate of all of the former participants in their show, going as far back as The Beastmaster and covering up to Brian. After Brian mentioned a debate he had with his friends on Monday night, Todd and Tyler spent some time discussing the music career of Dan Fogelburg. Throughout the show, they played various Fogelburg songs as bumper music taking them into and out of the commercial breaks. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary about people who have, God is my co-pilot bumper stickers. He also, once again, used his time with TnT this morning to promote his newest CD, Lord, I Apologize, which is having some trouble getting to local music stores. Stay tuned for more from Larry as the week moves on. TnT spent a majority of this mornings show discussing an article from Mens Health magazine. The article listed 50 things women wish their men knew. TnT went over many of the items in the article with a variety of female callers and got an idea of which things listed where accurate and which were not. After a while, TnT mixed in a few things that they felt women should know about men, such as, Men have the ability to think of absolutely nothing. Also during the discussion mentioned above, TnT debated a variety of issues around the concept of cheating, including whether going to strip clubs or watching porn could be considered cheating. They received phone calls from people on both sides of the argument. As the show progressed, the guys started talking about various terms that are suitable when referring to larger women. Even though men might refer to a woman using a term that she finds offensive, TnT were of the opinion that most guys arent trying to be dicks when they say their women is, for example, voluptuous. Big boned, hogasaurus, curvy, thick, sturdy, and a variety of other words were debated throughout much of the show. Many of the words chosen by TnT and their listeners werent exactly what a woman would like to be called but there were a few that the female listeners who phoned in agreed would be suitable. For the most part, there was a toss-up on the word, voluptuous, but it seemed to be the most widely accepted term of the morning. To wrap up the show, Todd and Tyler took calls from people who had various terms to describe fat guys. After having discussed fat women all morning, TnT were curious to see whether women would be as harsh as the men were being today. It turns out that women, unlike men, are much more tolerant of a puss gut than men are and most of the men who phoned in to talk with TnT on the subject didnt mind if their ladies called them fat. Tomorrow, Todd and Tyler will be speaking with Seth McFarland. He is the creator, producer and a portion of the voice talent for Foxs The Family Guy animated series. Thats the update for today. Tune in tomorrow from 5:30am to 10am for another show and then check back here in the afternoon for another update. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
