TnT Show 11-12-2001

Monday 11-12-01

Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing their weekends. Todd took a bunch of kids to see “Monsters Inc.”, which cost him $1,700.00. He also got to spend some time watching his son play his final football game at the UNO stadium. Tyler took a few of his PA buddies and his dad to the Husker game on Saturday. They got to go in the Champion’s club, where they drank lots of beer and met Johnny Rogers. At one point, they all got into an elevator and after several minutes of wondering why they had not yet reached the floor they were heading to, someone finally realized that none of them had pushed the destination button. Also an early morning discussion, “Saving Private Ryan” aired unedited last night. TnT were pleased that the network didn’t cut out any of the F-bombs and speculated how long it might be before they are able to drop the F-bomb on their show.

Slave Boy Jeremy came in studio this morning and talked with TnT about Big Pussy’s 21st birthday party that took place on Saturday night. A bunch of people from the station rented a party bus and loaded it up with people the Freak had recruited for the celebration. Jeremy gave some details of the evening but couldn’t confirm whether or not Big Pussy got laid. Jeremy also spent some time talking with TnT about deer hunting, as he executed a Bambi at some point this weekend.

TnT spent a bit of time discussing the upcoming release of, “Wood Eye”, their second CD. The new CD is supposed to hit stores on Saturday morning and TnT will be making several appearances around town to promote “Wood Eye” that day. The guys went down the list of things that will be appearing on their new CD and played a few of the clips throughout the show. It sounds like “Wood Eye” is going to be just as good, if not better than Todd and Tyler’s “Greetings From Throckmorton” CD! The cost for their new disc will be $10 so start doing all of your chores now in order to get a big enough allowance to buy it.

Larry the Cable Guy phoned in this morning and after spending the first couple of minutes of his call disputing the existence of Donnie’s Gay Larry the Cable Guy character, he delivered a commentary on how his friend “Stinkfinger” likes to sing dirty lyrics in place of the actual lyrics of songs. Larry will be checking in again as the week goes on so stay tuned in.

During Brian’s entertainment report, he mentioned how several people have been coming out against the new movie “Shallow Hal” because of its derogatory jokes towards overweight people. TnT discussed the idea behind the movie and then opened up the phone lines to anyone who has dated or had sex with an overweight person before. Throughout the remainder of the show, TnT got calls from fat men and women who talked about their dating and sex life as well as getting calls from both men and women who are attracted to larger members of the opposite sex. They even discussed the various fat guy/girl adult magazines that are on the market. As the topic continued, the guys got curious about the biggest weight difference between a man and a woman in a relationship. By the end of the show, the largest weight difference within a relationship was around 240 pounds.

Randy Matson and Sean Gnant from the Funny Bone came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. Randy’s visit last Thursday, the Shank, Shank and Shank competition, didn’t leave him much time to talk with the guys on the air. This morning’s visit wasn’t much different because at about 9am, TnT turned over the airwaves to the ABC news coverage of the airplane crash in Queens, NY. After about 15 minutes, they returned to the air and discussed the situation. Randy pointed out that even if today’s incident isn’t terrorist related, we should blame them anyway. TnT seemed to like that idea. For the remainder of the show, the guys continued talking about overweight people as well as talking about the plane crash. At one point, Sean shared a spooky story about getting a handy on a dance floor back in Cleveland from a “fat girl”. The funny part was that he dug it and ended up taking her home, nailing her twice. Several weeks later, he ran into her again at a bar and she blew him off! You can catch more great comedy like that at the Funny Bone tonight as Sean and Randy open up for Jeff Dunham and his dolls. Call 493-8036 for reservations.

Join TnT at the Arena Sports Bar tonight for another edition of Monday Night Football. The Titans are taking on someone (I can’t remember) and TnT seem to think it could be a good game. Stop on out tonight for the field goal kicking contest and the food/beer specials throughout the game.

That’s the update today. Tune in tomorrow from 5:30am to 10am for another show and then check back here in the afternoon for the update. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
