Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning with a visit from Tony. He brought in the new Britney Spears CD and TnT played a tiny bit of her cover of “I Love Rock’n’Roll” before putting a bullet through it and playing the much cooler original. The guys discussed Britney for a while and now that she’s 20-years-old, they don’t consider themselves dirty old men for pining over the hottie any longer. TnT also retold the story about Tony being racially profiled by an unnamed Omaha gas station a few weeks ago.

During Brian’s newscast, he mentioned how one of the local TV stations did a story on gay sex taking place in area recreational parks. TnT have been doing “Homo patrol” on and off for the last few years so to them, gay sex in parks is old news. The guys tossed around the idea of someone funding a gay sex park, much like the city did for the skateboarding kids a while ago, in order to give the closeted gay men a place to go so they don’t have to frequent family parks. Later, TnT visited CRUISING for SEX and spent some time talking about parks listed on that web site. Some of the old favorites were there as well as a few new areas that are located on the UNL campus.

The new Todd and Tyler CD, ”Wood Eye” debuts tomorrow morning! TnT will be appearing at the 130^th and Q Street Quik Trip tomorrow from 10am to noon as well as the Saddle Creek Homers from 2pm to 4pm. Throughout the show today, Todd and Tyler played pieces of the various clips from “Wood Eye” in order to give us all a taste of what will be on the CD. TnT spent some time this morning discussing their upcoming dodge ball schedule. They have more than a handful of games ready to go and are in the process of getting a few more finalized. From what I could gather, they made an attempt to schedule North Bend but due to some problems with the school council, that game was scrapped. It sounded like the reason that game won’t be happening is because the people of North Bend hate Donnie. I should be receiving a detailed schedule of the games from Donnie soon, so I’ll be posting that as soon as I get it.

Travis came in this morning and did sports for TnT. His Lock of the Week is BYU giving 7 to Utah at home. His Box of the Week is Bonnie Hunt. Check out the “Features” section for the Box of the Week animation if you are unaware of whom Bonnie Hunt is.

TnT spoke with coach Mike Hastings of the Omaha Lancers today. They talked a bit about the Vikings before moving into a discussion about the team and their seasonal outlook. I believe the Lancers are playing tonight so stop on out and catch the action on the ice.

Ron “Tater Salad” White from the Funny Bone came in studio and hung out with TnT for a while today. He joined in on the topics of the day and shared several great stories of his own with TnT. He talked about living in Mexico, being wanted in Kansas, the $300 pair of sunglasses he purchased, how his mother drinks, the Blue Collar Tour with Foxworthy and Cable Guy, playing Frisbee with a redneck while tripping on acid, and how a girl from Columbus that he screwed ruined his relationship with his long-time girlfriend.
