Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing a variety of topics. Channel 3 went live to the Crouch news conference during the weather segment of the newscast last night. The guys thought that was a bit strange. They also mentioned how the weathermen in town are getting pissed because all of the good weather we’ve been having lately has put the weather segment of the newscast on the backburner and they’re no longer taking precedence over everything else in the news. TnT read a few e-mails from people who are loving their 3^rd Shift Replay shows at night on the Mighty Z. Also, Todd’s daughter had a birthday party last night so they discussed that for a while, as well as phoning his daughter to talk about her birthday. A few other interesting points of conversation during the early segments of the show revolved around taking horse tranquilizers to get high and the ethics and theory of “Mom Card Eligibility”.

Yesterday while mailing some packages to his family in Pennsylvania, Tyler was accosted by a group of guys in the parking lot of the Albertson’s on 108^th and Q Street. He was suspicious of the group of young men to begin with because one of them kept looking over his shoulder at the addresses on his package and, secondly, why were 3 or 4 mid-20’s aged guys hanging out in a grocery store parking lot together at 2 in the afternoon? Anyway, when he left to go to his car, the guys approached him and asked him what sort of cologne he wore. Then, one of the guys claimed to be traveling the “fragrance show” circuit and attempted to sell him a cheaper knockoff version of Tyler’s preference. Tyler basically told him to F-bomb off and went on his way. After detailing the situation for the audience, TnT pondered whether or not the cologne was stolen. They took some phone calls and one listener told them about a similar business he used to work in, door-to-door magazine sales. The caller gave some shady details of the industry and then TnT moved into a discussion about buying fenced goods. The topic didn’t continue throughout the show, however, but it sounded like TnT might bring it up again in an upcoming show so stay tuned with your stolen goods tales.

Donette from http://www.ivorystar.com” target=blank>Ivory Star phoned the guys this morning and mentioned that the group will be doing a little reunion tour in December. TnT spoke to Donette about how things are going for her out in Los Angeles and she said things are going good, although she didn’t offer up many details. As for their reunion tour, it begins on the 21^st where they’ll be appearing in Pender. On the 22^nd they will be at the Music Box. On the 29^th they will be in Snyder and on New Years Eve they will be in Wayne. The band may also get together and come visit the Todd and Tyler show before Donette heads back to L.A.

Ryan from the group FOUR, Friends Obtaining United Respect, phoned TnT again this morning and told them that his group is holding a discussion meeting at the Rose tomorrow night at 7pm to get plans together to protest against Felps on Friday. Anyone is welcome to join them. From the sounds of it, during tomorrow’s show Todd and Tyler will be doing some of the finalizing on their portion of the anti-Felps protest that will be taking place on Friday. Joe from Blue House came by today and has already printed up their “God Hates ____” signs for the protest so things are already falling into place. Tune in tomorrow for further details.

Dwayne Meyers came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. He’s opened up his own shop between H and J Streets on the east side of South 90^th. He talked about leaving the gas business and joined in on the topics of the day. Stop on out to Meyers Auto Services for all of your repair needs. Dwayne is, after all, the Car Doctor!

Travis came in this morning and did sports. During that time the guys discussed the Heisman trophy for a while, including Crouch’s invite to New York City for the ceremony. Travis will be covering the event for Channel 3 over the weekend so tune in. There was, as there has been all week, some argument over Crouch and the Huskers during Travis’s segment of the Todd and Tyler show but as to be expected, no one changed their minds. Attaboy did, however, admit that Tyler had a point today. Once Tyler heard that, he shut down the conversation completely because he heard what he wanted. It was very funny stuff.

During sports, Travis did a story about a football player who was in a car accident that left his girlfriend paralyzed. Somehow, oddly after Donnie came in the studio, the guys got on the topic of having sex with paralyzed people. TnT wanted to know if the paralyzed person could feel anything and it didn’t take them long to get the answer. A female listener phoned in and told the guys that she was in a car accident back in the early 80’s that left her partially paralyzed. She can still feel sex and as their discussion continued, she told TnT that she’s now a lesbian. The caller also told TnT about various forms of paralysis and gave descriptions of body feelings and movement capabilities that are associated with them.

The caller then told TnT about a friend of hers who was completely paralyzed. Her friend had gotten a shot from a doctor that allowed the paralyzed man to get an erection. The man tried to use his new boner on the caller but she said she wouldn’t have any of it. She went on to say that the guy was so proud of his working throck that he brought her a photo of his penis being held by a woman. The caller speculated that the hand around her friend’s throck in the photo might have belonged to her cleaning lady. It was a very interesting and funny call during a somewhat disturbingly twisted discussion. I know, I know. There’s nothing wrong with paralyzed people having sex but if you heard Donnie’s comments at the beginning of the conversation as I did, you too would think sex with a paralyzed person is a bit strange.
