Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by reading some hate e-mail. The author of the e-mail was a terrible punctuator and didnt make much sense. I believe there were also a few comments in the e-mail that lead TnT to believe that the author was somewhat sexually attracted to Travis. Another hate e-mail early in the show said that TnTs recent discussion over the Huskers backing into a National Championship game was only an issue to them because they are jealous of the Huskers. The guys found that rather amusing because, from the sounds of it, theyve heard the same accusations many times before. They then went on to point out that they arent football players and the Todd and Tyler show isnt a football team. Also, they arent competing against the Husker football team on any level, therefore they have nothing to be jealous about. The guys also talked about a business meeting they had last night with their boss. While waiting for everyone to arrive, Today is Saint Nicholas day and when Travis came in, he filled TnT in on the holiday tradition, as he has each year for the last couple of years. Trav talked about the gifts he gave his kids as well as discussing the origin of his celebration of the holiday. From the sounds of it, the whole Saint Nicholas day celebration thing was the idea of his wife and stems from a German heritage. Several callers checked in to talk about the holiday too. Oddly, they all seemed to have forgotten that today was Saint Nicholas day didnt set their shoes outside to be filled with presents. Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and told TnT about what he saw at the Billboard Music Awards. He hung out with Creed that night, attending the ceremony at the MGM Grand and gambling around Vegas with the band afterwards. He had a couple of famous people sightings, which included a pair of porn stars, and MC Hammer, who Larry said was a dick. After talking about the award show and its aftermath, Larry dove into a commentary on Strom Thurmand being an old guy with floating nuts. Bryn from the Gay Rodeo circuit called TnT this morning and talked a little bit about tomorrows anti-Felps protest taking place at North High at 11am. She dug the fact that TnT and their listeners are taking part in running Felps and his band of inbreeds out of town tomorrow. Following her call, the sister of the deceased man who Felps is protesting (Brad was his name) phoned TnT and she thanked them for what they are doing. She said that she will be avoiding the protesters but was pleased that TnT and their listeners, along with several other local groups will be trying to get Felps out of town. Tomorrow, all of the final details will be arranged so make sure to tune in. Also, in yesterdays update I mentioned that the FOUR group would be meeting at the Rose tonight at The guys spent some time this morning talking about movies theyve walked out on. I believe the discussion came about after Brian read a list of the top 10 movies of the year during his entertainment report. This morning Todds daughters elementary class was going to perform some Christmas songs for the younger classes. The guys sent Slave Boy Zack to the school with a microphone so they could broadcast pieces of the performance. When the time came to hear the kids sing, TnT flipped on the microphone and enjoyed a bit of the show. Due to some technical issues with the microphone buzzing, they didnt stick with the singing kids for very long. Jason Dickson and Sean Gnant from the Funny Bone came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while, making retard jokes throughout their visit. They joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a pretty good time. The pair of comics also made fun of Todds daughters elementary school Christmas program that TnT aired parts of during their visit. They were pretty harsh, basically saying that the kids sucked, but Im sure it was all for comedic effect and that the two comedians really didnt mean to crush the hopes and dreams of the innocent singing school children oh so filled with the Holiday spirit. Catch Jason and Sean at the Funny Bone opening up for Diane Ford this weekend. Call 493-8036 for reservations. To wrap up their show, Todd and Tyler spoke with Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart on The Simpsons. They spent some time talking about her voiceover career and some of the behind-the-scenes things that take place on The Simpsons, as well as discussing some of the famous guest stars that have appeared on the show. TnT asked her if she ever has the urge to slip into a character voice while having sex, a point brought up by Donnie prior to the interview, but Well, thats the update for today. Tune in this evening at
