Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about a variety of things. They read over a few e-mails from their listeners before discussing a list of 12,000 possible sites in Iowa that have been determined to be possible terrorist targets. TnT seemed to think that it was a bit ridiculous to consider that Iowa even has 12,000 things worthy of being on such a list. They spent a bit of time trying to think of what types of places or things would be considered targets but could only come up with humorous possibilities. A few listeners phoned in and joined TnT in their discussion but none of the listeners could really come up with any serious targets in Iowa either.

The guys talked a bit today about whether or not they could date a woman that makes 6 figures. Both Todd and Tyler agreed that they probably couldn’t date someone with that sort of income because if their lady was making that kind of money, she would probably be quite busy all the time with meetings, dinner and drink engagements and other business-related activities that would keep her busy and away from home all the time. They both felt that they are a little too high maintenance to be with someone who would have to spend so much time dealing with work. The guys brought the subject up several times during their show this morning but speculated that they wouldn’t get much reaction to the subject on the phones. Their reasoning for this was because busy ladies with a 6-figure income might not take the time out of their day to phone the TnT show and talk about relationships. It turns out that their assumptions were right on because they didn’t get much response to the topic on the phones.

Travis phoned the guys from the Chicago airport this morning. He’s on his way to New York City to cover the Heisman ceremony for Channel 3. He talked with the guys about airport security and then gave TnT his Lock and Box of the week. His Lock is Tennessee giving up 6 ½. His Box of the Week is Martha Stuart.

Brian did the news, entertainment, and sports reports today. At an early point in the show, Brian was talking about going pheasant hunting with his friends this weekend. He was asked two questions at the same time, one by Todd, the other by Tyler, and that lead Brian into a little verbal screw up. He tried to answer both questions at the same time and ended up uttering, “We suck, we suck my friend Craig”. At first, Brian didn’t believe he had said it but then Donnie grabbed that clip from the tape and Tyler replayed it. Then Brian said that Donnie must have edited it but as a faithful, close-eared listener, I can tell you that it was unedited and that’s exactly what Brian said. Throughout the rest of the show the guys played the clip many times. They even replayed Tyler’s recent screw up of the word “country” from a few weeks ago that made it sound like Tyler had dropped an on-air C-bomb.

The guys spent a great deal of time this morning discussing their counter action to the Felps protest at North High today. They took calls throughout the show and worked out all of the details, including the times and places for the protest and what they could and could not do legally. They spoke with several representatives from the Omaha group FOUR and also discussed where they could stand in order to avoid breaking the law. Several students from North phoned in to share their thoughts on the topic and many of them who called said that they planned to join Todd and Tyler’s protest later in the morning. As the show progressed, TnT continued to talk about their own feelings towards the hateful messages being spread by the Felps group and let their callers vent their thoughts on the situation, too. After the show wrapped up, the gang headed to North High to face the Felps. They will have a detailed report on the events that took place after today’s show on Monday morning so make sure to tune in.

Diane Ford from the Funny Bone joined TnT this morning for a couple of hours. She joined in on the topics of the day and shared a few of her own stories. She has moved out of Vegas since the last time she was in town and is now living in Florida. Diane brought in a porno full of black people knocking it out for TnT that she found in a hotel room in Kansas recently. She also spent some time talking shoes with news chick Brian. At one point in her visit, she jumped all over Donnie for making a comment about kicking Felps’ mother in the nuts and how the comment was random and made no sense but then she went on to utter about 4 pointless “Scooby Doo” references, which seemed somewhat contradictory.
