Wednesday 12-19-01

Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show by reading a couple of e-mails. One was from a listener who likes Travis but spent the entire e-mail making fun of him, specifically his looks. After reading the e-mail, TnT got a call from a female listener named Tammy who said that she wanted to lick Trav’s goatee, or the “gravy ring” as it was referred to by the e-mailer. The guys prompted her to call back when Travis arrived and she said she would. On a different note, with yesterday’s discussion of obsessive fans of bands, TnT spoke to Lynn Taylor about Creed this morning. Lynn shared some stories about crazy fans that are even more nuts over Creed than she is. Also early in the show, TnT were joined in studio by their buddies Black Tony and Michael the lawyer/musicologist. They hung out and joined in on the topics of the day for a bit.

Early in the show, Tyler told the story about how he got braces yesterday. He had a root canal done recently and was informed that braces might be needed in order to avoid looking like a snaggle tooth in the future. He went and got the braces put on yesterday and mentioned that while he was in the doctor’s lounge, he bonded over braces with a 10-year-old girl who was sitting next to him. The girl’s parents were listening and had her call in. She bummed on Tyler because she’s actually 14, not 10. Anyway, throughout the remainder of the show, as I’m sure you can imagine, nearly everyone piled on Tyler and gave him crap about having braces.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and gave TnT a commentary called, “Titty Bar Christmas”. It was yet another humorous demonstration of Larry’s holiday cheer. When Travis arrived, the lady who called earlier in the show, Tammy checked in again and said that she would come to the studio and lick Trav’s goatee. Travis seemed to freak out, fearing he would get in trouble if the caulk lover licked his face, yet he also seemed to somewhat dig the idea. When she arrived, Travis continued to protest the inevitable face licking until she snuck up on him like a Medicine Hat during the beginning of his sports report and lapped at his chin like a thirsty puppy. A photo of the face licking exists but I’ve yet to receive it in the e-mail for publication as of yet. After she licked his face, Tammy talked with TnT about getting 150 pounds lopped off, as well as wanting to get collagen implants and a boob job. She begged for donations from the listeners for a while in order to finance her new rack but no one seemed to take her up on the offer. Tammy also mentioned she has a web site with “before” pictures of her boobs on it but she neglected to mention the web address over the air.

The http://www.fishheads.com/” target=blank>Fish Heads continued the Todd and Tyler show holiday tradition by joining TnT this morning for their final show of the year. They performed a couple of tunes including “I’m Getting Nothing For Christmas”. They also taunted Brian by doing “Let It Snow”. The Fish Heads also performed “Cats In The Freezer” live in studio and afterwards, TnT compared this morning’s live performance with that of the one the Fish Heads recorded at the Arena a few months back. Ron Kenny from the Funny Bone joined TnT in studio late this morning after a 3-year absence. During his visit, the guys brought up a topic earlier in the show, licking 68-year-old pie. Brian said the oldest person he’s ever been with was 45 and when asked if he performed oral sex on her by TnT, Brian said “No because I didn’t really know her.” Somehow that topic got morphed into a discussion about performing oral sex on senior citizens. TnT got some phone calls from listeners who had stories to share on the subject, including an older guy who said he had done the deed to a 60+ woman, his girlfriend of about 15 years, just the other night. TnT seemed to be making note of the discussion so it is possible that the topic will resurface when TnT return with live shows after the New Year.
