| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 02-04-2002 Monday 2-04-02 Todd and Tyler started off their program today by discussing a variety of things. Tyler saw I Am Sam over the weekend so there was a bit of Corky talk early on. Tyler liked the movie even though both he and Todd had heard bad things about it. TnT also spent some time talking about Omahas dirty little secret, as described in the World Herald. They were referring to gambling as it relates to the Super Bowl. TnT thought it was a bit stupid of the paper to mention Super Bowl betting as Omahas dirty little secret because betting on the Super Bowl takes place everywhere! Speaking of the Super Bowl, Tyler had a party at his house to watch the game yesterday. The guys talked about the game itself as well as some of the things that happened during the party. Bruce Patrick won a chunk of cash from betting on one of those funky squares boards that Tyler had set up. I believe Todd also won some money but only ended up netting $4 because of the amounts of non-winning squares he picked. At various times throughout the remainder of the show, such as during news, entertainment and Traviss sportscast, the Super Bowl came up in conversation again. Early in the program the guys also read yet another poorly written e-mail from a listener who attempted to bash them but failed miserably. Any point the e-mailer tried to make was drastically shadowed by his own pitiful verbal abilities. TnT spent some time commenting on the lack of intelligence behind that particular e-mail and seemed amazed (as was I) that the guy had enough brains to work a computer to the point of being able to send an e-mail yet couldnt complete a sentence without sounding like a moron. With the upcoming Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Star game taking place in Ralston tonight, the guys talked about the match-up throughout todays show. They continued to get sorry phone calls from Ralston residents who attempted to run smack at them but as they were last week, the callers smack was incredibly weak. It wasnt until late in the show that TnT finally received some strong trash talk from a Ralston e-mailer named Lee who individually scrutinized most of TnTs team members. Although the e-mailer was pretty harsh on everyone, the guys actually seemed to enjoy reading the smack from that e-mail (as it was one of the only e-mails that made much sense all day). Make sure to join the Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Stars tonight. The game begins at 7pm but there is going to be a spaghetti feed starting at 5:30pm so get there early and fill your guts. The guys received a phone call this morning from a female listener who was upset at TnT for their use of the words Jesus Christ and God damn. In one of their discussions about the Super Bowl, TnT mentioned that they were glad the Rams didnt win because they didnt have to hear the team thanking God for everything. They humorously elaborated a bit further on that idea and thats when the phone call came. The caller said she had been listening for 2 years and occasionally finds the guys offensive and turns the station, but she also said that she eventually always comes back to TnTs show because she sometimes finds them funny. After she inquired about TnTs religious believes, the guys explained how they felt about the hypocrisy of organized religions and explained why they dont like it when athletes put all the credit in Gods hands when they win but never mention Gods roll in their losses. The caller went on to ask that TnT remember that what they say might offend some listeners and then said they should tone it down. The guys blew her up and explained that middle of the road radio shows are boring and dont have listeners and thats not the kind of show that they do. As always occurs after one of those types of phone calls, TnT listeners started to check in with the old change the station if you dont like it suggestion. Listeners, my friends, my people
. we dont want those types of callers to change the station. We must demand that even though someone hates TnT, they must listen to every second of every show! Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary on pushing a kid into a swimming pool at a Super Bowl party. It was pretty funny but no one (myself included) seemed to understand the commentary, Tyler asking at one point, What in the hell are you talking about? Im sure well here more from Larry as the week progresses so stay tuned to the Todd and Tyler show. J Medicine Hat from the http://www.funnyboneomaha.com target=blank>Funny Bone came in this morning and spent some time with the guys. He talked a bit about some recent shows he did in Omaha and other cities, discussed the quality of cocaine from Mexico, and then explained a recent sexual experience he had. Medicine Hat said that he arrived home after being on the road for some time and found his girlfriend naked in bed with a naked 20-year-old hottie. *Slurp* Welcome home J. *Slurp* As you can imagine, a 3-some was in the works and J shared the details with TnT and their listeners. I believe he mentioned that at one point, a strap on was brought into the mix. Towards the end of his visit, the guys filled J in on the Wayne Gimp story and played their Roger Van song for him. He seemed to dig it thoroughly. You can catch the XX-rated Medicine Hat show at the Funny Bone tonight. Call 493-8036 for reservations. Tonight is another Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Star game. The guys are headed to the country of Ralston, which they will be the rightful owners of tonight after they wax the asses of the Ralston drama geeks. Well, thats it for the big Monday update. Tune in tonight for the 3rd Shift Replay at 10pm and then rejoin TnT tomorrow morning at 5:30am for another show. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
