| A 39 and a half foot pole! ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 03-05-2002 Tuesday 3-5-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing quite a few topics. Both of the guys watched Creighton win last night and were pleased that the Blue Jays are now going to the NCAA tournament. Later, Tyler saw a cop get tazered on TV during the news and told everyone about how the cop dropped some F-Bombs while the current pulsed through him. They read over a few e-mails from listeners, discussed a few things from last nights news, and then talked about their dodge ball game in Arlington tonight. TnT also mentioned that they spoke via e-mail to the guy who runs the Westside High TV show, Westside Crew and if the guy can push things though the administration at the school, TnT may make an appearance on the cable access show in the future. The guys read through their March Madmen 2002 brackets this morning. Ill be posting the March Madmen section to the Todd and Tyler web site soon so for full details, check the menu on the TnT web site. Later in the show, they mentioned the brackets again. It sounds like this years tournament is going to be great. It should begin next Monday. Tonight the Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Stars are headed to Arlington to take on the teachers and coaches in a battle to the death. Before the game, there is a chili feed beginning at 6pm, followed by the Assault of Arlington at 7pm. TnT got quite a few phone calls from Arlington early in the show from people who are going to attend and play in the event. It should be another great game so if youre in the area, stop on out and see the Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Stars. TnT spoke with their comedian friend Adam Ferarra this morning. He is on the Denis Leary show, The Job. This week, that show is going to be featured on Comedy Central every night and there is also going to be a 2-hour marathon of The Job on Sunday night from 7pm to 9pm. The guys talked with Adam about the show and some of the other things hes doing now. Adam also said he is coming back to the Funny Bone for some shows between April 25th through the 27th. He will be joining the guys in studio around then too. Check out Adam on The Job on Comedy Central all week. Travis came in and did the sports report today. He also did his For What Its Worth editorial from last nights Channel 3 newscast. This mornings topics included the Huskers new away uniform, Crouchs chances in the NFL and some talk of local high school basketball. If youd like to offer Travis some feedback on his For What Its Worth editorial, you can leave him a voice mail by calling 593-2706 or e-mail him at travis@kmtv3.com. The guys spoke with Creighton Blue Jay basketball coach Dana Altman this morning. He seemed pleased at their victory last night that clenched the teams position in the NCAA tourney. The guys talked about last nights game and then got into some March Madness talk, pondering what region the team might be playing in and where they might be placed in the brackets. TnT plan to follow the Blue Jays throughout the tournament and Im sure they will be keeping us posted on the teams accomplishments. Go Blue Jays! Todd and Tyler phoned yesterdays Vegas trip winner, Matt. He plans on taking his wife on the trip and he mentioned that they are both Vegas virgins. In fact, he said his wife has never even flown before. TnT congratulated him and then went on to discuss todays classic artist, mentioning that the contest will end next Friday. Leif Garrett joined TnT on the phone this morning for an interview. When he phoned in, the guys were discussing celebrity boxing matches so they asked if he had ever been approached to do it. Leif said that he had indeed been approached and they wanted him to fight Vanilla Ice. He turned it down even though the money is good because hes actually friends with Vanilla Ice and secondly, Vanilla Ice is in much better physical shape than Leif. From there, the guys spent some time talking about his career as a teen idol back in the 70s. When asked about the money he made, Leif said he got screwed with a big dildo by his handlers back then so he didnt actually make much cash. It was pretty funny. Leif also talked with the guys about being on The Weakest Link and said that nearly everyone on the show was a loser. According to Leif, Tanya Harding is trailer trash. The VH-1 Behind The Music on Leifs career came up in discussion and he didnt seem to freak out when the guys asked him what doing heroin felt like. Currently, Leif has a new band called F8 and you can check out the web site at http://www.f8officialsite.com . The interview was very cool and Leif seemed to enjoy his time with TnT. Tune in on Saturday for the Best Of and youll most likely hear the interview again soon. During Brians entertainment report, he did a story about a ZZ Top country music tribute album. In order to help their listeners save a buck and not have to buy the piece of crap, Donnie came in studio and sang in his neck-like twang a ton of ZZ Top songs TnT thought would probably end up on the country music CD. It was hilarious. Afterwards and to wrap up the show, TnT recapped all of the March Madmen brackets for the audience. Well, thats it for the update today. Join the guys in Arlington tonight for the big dodge ball game and on your way home, tune into the 3rd Shift Replay at 10pm. The guys will return to the air tomorrow morning at 5:30am for another show. Thanks for watching. Good night.
