TnT Show 03-28-2002

Thursday 3-28-02

Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about the death of Dudley Moore and Milton Berle. From there, focus shifted to last night’s National Championship dodge ball game against the Villisca axe murderers. The Todd and Tyler Traveling Dodge Ball All Stars emerged victorious with a 7 to 1 win. More than $2400 was raised for the school and throughout the show, TnT took calls from people who attended the event, all saying they had a great time. The guys discussed the limo they took to Villisca provided by Extreme Limousine and talked about some of the things that happened in the limo on their way home, too. TnT said that at one point, Donnie pulled out his junk for a photo op and someone noticed that his throck is only ½ circumcised. Later, he and Brian shared a strange gaze into each other’s eyes as the brushed up against each other’s legs. Also related to Donnie’s penis, Brian told everyone about how Donnie peed on him when the gang stopped for a bathroom break on the way home from the dodge ball game. The gay sexual tension between Brian and Donnie was prevalent throughout the show, seemingly spawned by Brian’s offer to give Donnie a Diekman earlier in the week and amplified by the pair’s erotic sink style sword fighting last night.

Speaking of Brian and sex, TnT met Brian’s mom for the first time last night. To their surprise, Brian’s conservative mother is incredibly hot! TnT were surprised because most of the conservative women they have met here in town are a bit frumpy so seeing the immense hotness of Brian’s mom blew them out of the water. As you can imagine, throughout the remainder of the show, Brian’s hot mom was a big topic. Even though the news chick was quite uncomfortable hearing TnT say how much they wanted to nail his mother, the guys didn’t let up at all. It was great and now that we all know Brian’s mom is a bombshell, we will all have easy ammunition to use against him when he delivers us more dead baby news stories.

The guys spent some time reading over a quiz about sex addiction today. There were 25 questions on the list and, according to the rules of the author if you answered “yes” to more than 13 of them you are a sex addict. As TnT read the list, they found themselves faced with many questions that could go either way. They also realized that on a lot of the questions, they were trying to rationalize their past actions in order to sway the outcome of the quiz. By the time the guys had answered all the questions, they all scored under 13 points and therefore could not be considered sex addicts.

Kevin and Bill from the Omaha Royals came in this morning and spent some time hanging out with TnT. The gang discussed a variety of baseball related topics including the new lights and bleachers at the Johnny, Bucky Dent’s position as manager, the change from Golden Spikes back to the Royals, the history of the weather on opening day, wacky promotions scheduled for this season, the Friday Fireworks shows planned each week throughout the season, and much more. For further information on the Omaha Royals, visit their web site at Omaha Royals: Home. Keep in mind that the Royals season and home opener is taking place on April 4th and we are all invited out for the game.

Because of last night’s trip to Villisca, the guys talked about the axe murder that took place back in 1912 quite a bit throughout today’s program. They received phone calls from Villisca residents who filled them in on the details of the story, discussed the history of the house post-chopping, and talked about how the house has been turned into a museum. One caller said that she actually babysat some kids for a family who moved into the house before it was turned into a museum. Some other callers shared information about books and television shows that have been done surrounding the axe murderer story and Tyler sounded as though he was interested enough in the tale to go out and get one of the books.

TnT spoke with the principal from the Millard West high school today. Everyone seems excited for the April 8th game that will benefit the Svitak family of Fremont and the Millard West soccer team. The principal shared all the details of the event and said he is actually going to play in the dodge ball bowl game. Before the guys ended the call, Donnie came in studio and mentioned that there will be representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines present at the game to talk to anyone interested about joining the military. Feel free to thank our soldiers for the fine job they are all doing protecting us.

TnT phoned Kim, the final winner of the Vegas trip give-away from a few weeks ago. She had e-mailed the guys and was bummed that they didn’t call her after she won. TnT mentioned that they were both out of town on vacation the Monday after she was awarded the final spot on the party plane and that’s why they didn’t call her. Kim told the guys a strange story about how she and her husband had won two other trips before this but she was unable to go on either one of them due to funky circumstances. This trip, however, Kim vowed to not miss.

Bucky Dent was scheduled to phone the guys today but he must have gotten busy preparing for the Royals opening game because he never did call the show. Perhaps the guys will get Bucky back on the air when he returns to Omaha. By the way, if anyone has one of the famous old Bucky Dent posters from the 70’s, please contact Todd and Tyler by either phone or e-mail. They would love to get their hands on one of the posters. E-mail them at tntshow@z92.com or call 962-1200.

Well, that’s it for the update today. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure you rejoin Todd and Tyler tomorrow morning from 5:30am to 10am for their Friday show. Thanks for watching. Good night. –Corby-
