Tuesday 1-7-02

Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about Fox’s new ‘’Joe Millionaire’’ show that premiered last night. They described the premise to the show for those who are unfamiliar with it and then talked about how terrible it is. Neither of them stuck around for the whole show, Tyler opting for other television and Todd went to the Game Cube. They both agreed that if the show would cut straight to the part where all of the money hungry women find out that the alleged millionaire only makes $19,000 a year, it would be a much better show.

From there, Tyler mentioned he was busted scratching his nuts in the doctor’s office yesterday by a guy who was also there for an appointment. Tyler described the funny visual of himself lying down with his new baby on his chest when the urge to scratch the boys overtook him. He reached down, tugged at those bears, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a guy giggling at him. Tyler then talked about his outing to the local Wal-Mart for baby formula. The only reason he went to Wal-Mart is because Target was out. Anyway, while there, he ran into a local police officer who told him that yesterday’s guillotine story guy actually only cut off one of his nuts, not both. Furthermore, the twisted sap brought along some thread and a needle so he could sew up his sack after the slicing. TnT then pondered whether or not the guillotine guy had committed a crime and after some discussion, they concluded that he hadn’t.

Also early in the show, TnT spoke their two speed daters that joined them in studio before they left for Christmas break. First, they got Billie on the line. She was in bed, dressed in a tank top and a pair of flannel sleepy pants. She told TnT that she planned to call a couple of the guys she speed dated with and then mentioned that after the speed dating ended, she met another guy at Brewsky’s that evening who she digs, too. Later, TnT got a hold of speed dater #2, Jana. She also said she would be phoning a couple of the guys she speed dated with. Both ladies are to check in if and when they hop on any of their speed dater guys’ poles.

BW came in with the news a little later in the show. As he read through each story, TnT commented on them, focusing mostly on those whacked space cloners and a crazy Chinaman. Gino from the Brass Grille at 1207 Harney also stopped by the studio during this portion of the show and hung out for most of the remainder. Strip bars also became a topic of conversation during the newscast and each member of the morning show shared his first experience at a strip bar.

Todd and Tyler spoke to Catherine Crier of Court TV this morning. She’s been all over the TV over the last 15 years used to be a lawyer and judge. Catherine spoke to the guys today about a new book she has written called, ‘’The Case Against Lawyers’’. She talked about the premise to the book, some of the problems in today’s court system, frivolous lawsuits, the portrayal of lawyers on television dramas and more. It was a very interesting interview that you’ll be able to hear again tonight during Todd and Tyler’s 3^rd Shift Replay.

Yesterday the guys had a conversation about an Iowa student dressed in the school’s mascot outfit that was attacked by a ‘’fairly ridged plastic banana’’ after a football game a few years ago. She won a $25,000 lawsuit against the opposing school, Ohio State I believe. Her name is Angela Anderson and she’s now attending grad school in Maryland. She spoke to the guys this morning about the incident and the following lawsuit, as well as discussing that now infamous fairly ridged plastic banana and her time at mascot camp. She was super cool with TnT, seemingly enjoying herself while talking to them. Although she hasn’t seen any of the $25,000 she’s been awarded, she came across happy just knowing that she won the court case.

Travis came in with the sports report a little later in the show. He also provided his ‘’For What It’s Worth’’ commentary from last night’s KM3 newscast. The topics today included how kids should look up to Creighton’s Korver as a roll model, how everyone is welcome on the Creighton ban wagon, and he also provided a rebuttal to Tom Shatel’s recent article mentioning Channel 3 not covering certain sporting events. As the show progressed, Todd and Tyler continued their earlier conversation about strip clubs with Gino from the Brass Grille and Jessica Dol. The guys also talked about Gino’s somewhat accidental Tylenol overdose about 10 years ago that nearly killed him. The guys also took many tangents on other topics during this portion of the show.

Todd and Tyler spoke to a woman named Sherry this morning who was representing a new herbal supplement that is supposed to help women increase their breast sizes. The supplement is called ‘’Herbal New Bust’’, details of which can be obtained by calling 1-800-731-9910 or visiting their web site at Newbust, the Super Formula for natural breast enlargement. The guys hit her with a variety of questions ranging from whether the pills would make one’s ass bigger to whether a guy could take them and grow cans. Sherry filled them in on the benefits of her pills including hormone balancing and others, among the larger boobs, and told the guys that they work by somehow turning back on a female’s natural hormones that initially causes breast growth during puberty. She was a nice enough lady but TnT didn’t seem to think the pills would work, as supplements of that type seldom do. Jessica Dol said she is going to try them out so I’m sure we’ll get a full report in the near future. Also, Todd and Tyler plan to ask Dr. Ed about the pills when they speak to him tomorrow so make sure to tune in for that.

BW returned later in the morning with today’s entertainment report. Throughout the e-news, the guys kept looking at a web site for adult film star Tina Toy so they were a little distracted. Not only did they talk about the plethora of e-news stories BW delivered, but the guys discussed eating horse rectums, they had a lengthy discussion about reality TV shows and the quality of people who appear on them, TnT discussed saggy aborigines, and BW tossed in a ton of not-so-subliminal ‘’Heather’’ references, leading TnT to believe that he’s been knocking it out with this Heather person and she must have dumped him; his mentioning her name on the radio a pitiful attempt to win her heart back.

Tomorrow the guys will be joined by Dr. Ed from Tyler, TX. They’ll also continue discussing Thursday night’s Dodge Ball game in Bennington and they’re bound to give further details about their trip to the Lincoln Homers on Saturday at 11am for a calendar signing event.
