| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 04-01-2002 Monday 4-1-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about their Easter weekends and what they had to eat. From there, the guys welcomed a variety of show contributors into the studio including Black Tony, Joe from Blue House, James the Giant Peach, and Midget Brian. The gang hung out and joined in on the topics of the early portion of the show which included discussions over how horses sleep, the new desert dome at the zoo, Tylers childhood memories of red monkey penises, the contents of ham balls, the news delivered all over town yesterday about how Christ has risen, Tylers garlic gas blasts, Donnies bad dreams, and more. There was a definite strange vibe to the show, which TnT later explained. Also joining TnT in studio during the early portion of the show was J Medicine Hat from the Funny Bone. While there, the Hat shared a couple of stories with the guys including a tale about an ecstasy-filled wife of someone hypnotized on stage banging her head repeatedly against a wall. J also spent some time talking about his daughters tendency to date guys that are total losers. During his visit, TnT asked him about something they brought up earlier in the show. From the paper, there was a story about a Huskers babys momma named Alyssa Phillips Kills Enemy. TnT wondered what in the hell kind of name that was and after talking with Medicine Hat, they figured out that Kills Enemy was a Native American name. From there and throughout the remainder of the show, various Kills something last names made appearances. It was very funny stuff. By the way, you can catch Medicine Hats X-rated show at the Bone tonight by calling 493-8036 for reservations. The band Bone Pecker came in studio this morning and played a couple of tunes for TnT. To my surprise and absolute delight, they did a great version of Danzigs Thirteen, the twelfth track from Danzigs latest album, 6:66 Satans Child. If you missed Bone Pecker this morning, you can catch them on April 20th at the 49er and at Murphys on the 21st at 3pm. By the way, all of you fellow Danzig freaks, the new album Danzig7:77 "I Lucifer I" hits stores on May 21st! Ill see you in line. At about 8:45am this morning, TnT made a jarring announcement about this mornings program. The show that aired this morning between 5:30am and 10:15am was actually done live and recorded last night beginning at 10pm. Basically, the guys April Fooled us and switched around their 3rd Shift Replay by doing the show live at night and airing it on tape for the morning listeners. In the studio, heads melted down like overheated batteries as Todd, Tyler, Donnie, Travis and Brian all pondered the confusion such an April Fools joke would cause A) the 3rd Shift listeners and B) their regular morning crowd and C) they had obviously caused themselves. The guys opened up the phone lines and talked to many 3rd Shift listeners about what they were doing and how badly TnT confused them. Most of the callers pointed out various things within the contents of this mornings show that lead them to believe they werent hearing the taped Friday show, but instead an actual live broadcast. TnT continued to take calls and discuss their one day timeslot switch, further confusing themselves, their 3rd shift listeners from last night and, I can only assume, this mornings listeners. Hilariously, the guys seemed to get loopier and loopier as the show moved on, but what would you expect from Todd and Tyler at 2am? All in all, it was a great show this morning/last night even though TnT said theyll probably never do such a late live show again. Ill pat myself on the back a little by saying I figured out Todd and Tylers trickery immediately, as the pitch of the guys voices seemed a bit strange leading me to believe they had been recorded. What do I win? Nothing. Make sure you call the guys tomorrow and letem know how long it took you to figure out they were playing us for fools, April Fools. TnT wrapped up this years March Madmen 2002 tournament this morning. Frankly, I have no idea what happened or how it happened but whatever took place, it was pretty damned funny. The Ghost of Dodge County Duke ended up victorious in this years MMM tournament but Im sorry to say, I couldnt explain how he won if given a month to do so. You can join Todd and Tyler at Mickey Finns on 120th and Maple Street tonight at 7pm as they host a party to watch this years NCAA basketball championship game. Stop on out and see the guys tonight and take part in the 3 point shooting contest against Black Tony for fabulous prize vault paraphernalia. Unlike this mornings show, Todd and Tyler will be at Mickey Finns LIVE tonight, even though they did toss around the idea of just sending in a pre-recorded tape of themselves hosting tonights basketball game. Well, thats it for todays update. Tune in tonight for the 3rd Shift Replay, which will be last weeks Friday show and then rejoin TnT tomorrow at 5:30am for another program. Everyones mojo should return to normal tomorrow so dont miss the show. Thanks for watching. Good night. Corby-
