Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by discussing what horrible shape the Pope is in. Both of the guys think the Pope deserves to call it quits and said that if he were the head of a major corporation, he would have been removed from power long ago. From there, the guys mentioned that two Kenyans won the Boston Marathon (yea, that happens almost never) as well as talking about the 9/11 World Herald that was delivered to them today. At first, they thought the paper was redistributing the 9/11 edition as some sort of commemorative, collectors thing but they found out later that someone had stolen a bunch of the 9/11 editions of the World Herald and somehow one found its way to the front door of the radio station. Also early in the show, TnT talked a bit about the new look over at Channel 3, who moved from a red set to a blue set last night. The station has also changed its name from KMTV Channel 3 to KM 3 (*pauses for the roar from the crowd*). They made fun of Pos for his line about how the switch was done because its what the people want. TnT agreed that, most likely, the changes 3 made were due to damned consultants and not viewer suggestions. When Travis arrived later in the show, they brought up the changes again and discussed them with Attaboy. Chris Vacanti and Kelly Higgins from Cohen, Vacanti, Higgins & Shattuck stopped by this morning and spent a couple of hours answering legal questions for Todd and Tylers listeners. There were quite a few phone calls this morning from the female audience, which seemed to please TnT. As you can imagine, there were twisted tales of divorce, custody, lots of child support questions and many of this mornings callers had issues regarding situations with more than one state involved. One of the stranger calls of the day came from someone who told TnT about a mother/grandmother crank-fest that left the great-grandmother in charge of a child. Feel free to visit FATHERSRIGHTSLAW.COM or call 345-7600 for all of your legal questions and stay tuned to TnT because the guys will bring the lawyers back in studio in the near future. Travis came in to do the sports this morning but before hand, TnT talked to him about the changes made over at Channel 3 that they had discussed earlier in the show. With the station changing to KM 3, TnT started referring to Travis as KM Trav. After Travs sports report, he repeated his For What Its Worth segment that aired last night on TV. The topics of this edition included how the NRP fire & rescue people do good work and how the Husker baseball team has a big head. You can leave comments for Travis via the e-mail at travis@km3.com or phone his voice mail at 402-593-2706. Trav told TnT that hes looking for comments of any type, not just ones from people who agree with him, so TnT called his voice mail this morning and left him a message. You may hear it tonight on Channel 3 so tune in. Towards the end of the show the guys spent some time discussing the long awaited release of Hair Lip. They went over the list of clips that are on the CD and played one of them, Faggot Dancing. Todd and Tyler are going to be at the Council Bluffs QT on Saturday from Well thats it for the update today. Tomorrow Brian will be back in studio after his weeklong absence due to his visit to a rage management center. Dr. Ed will also be joining the guys live from his basement in |
