| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 04-29-2002 Monday 4-29-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about the Foreigner Behind The Music that aired on VH-1 over the weekend. At first Tyler mentioned that he thought one of the guys, either Mick Jones or Lou Gramm (I cant remember which) had gotten really fat, finding out later in the show that he had a tumor removed from his head and spent several months afterwards sitting on the couch eating, just being happy he was alive. Further Foreigner and tumor talk continued for a bit and then TnT moved on into talking about the Channel 3 news that aired at 6pm Friday night, which had the video of the guys talking about their Robert Blake interview. They seemed a bit bummed that the news station didnt put it on during the more watched 10pm newscast when most people are watching but seemed happy enough that they got at least some TV coverage. Todd and Tyler announced the details for their annual golf tournament early in todays program. It is going to be held at Stone Creek on Friday, May 17th. The cost to attend is $75 per person and for that, youll get a round of golf, a meal before and after the tourney, a sleeve of balls, a Todd and Tyler golf towel, and a white Polo shirt with the red, white, and blue Z-92 logo. They were quite pleased that the fine folks at Stone Creek invited them back for a second year and promised to keep Donnie in line again this year to avoid any property damage to the course. Registration forms can be picked up at either of the two Nebraska Golf Discount locations (108th and Dodge in Old Mill or at 145th and Center). Once youve picked up your form and filled it out, return it and your entry fee to the Z-92 studios right off of 108th and L Street. The tournament will fill up fast so get registered today! During Brians newscast, there was a story about a teenager who was hurt at a post-prom party over the weekend. The story led into a discussion about the prom season, as everyone shared their own prom memories. Donnie said that one year he went stag dressed in a white tux and chauffeured his friend and his date around. Todd and Tyler didnt seem to agree with the whole going stag to prom idea, stating that no one went stag when there they went to school because if you did, you were a complete loser. If you didnt have a date, you just didnt go. Donnie attempted to retaliate by saying that Todd was actually a bigger loser because he had to get an out-of-town girl to go to prom with him. The debate about who was a bigger loser lasted for a while and then the conversation was put on hold until later in the show because a scheduled guest phoned the show. TnT spoke to Bob Reno from Bob Reno's BadJocks.com - Where COPS meets SPORTSCENTER (includes links to drunk driving lawyers) this morning. There were a variety of stories covered including the Anna Kournakova photos Penthouse is planning to publish, the Broken Bow high school locker room video tapers, and they talked about a story where a cheerleaders boob popped out during a competition yet she finished her routine anyway. The guys also discussed a South Korean restaurant giving out free dog meat samples to all of the World Cup Soccer attendants, more drunks in the news, and they covered a photo of a woman kissing a trophy after a victory, that trophy oddly penis shaped. It was another great visit with Bob Reno this morning and Im sure TnT will be talking with him about more bad jocks again soon so stay tuned. The guys recently received an e-mail from someone informing them that their old producer, The Beastmaster had gotten engaged. The Beast called in this morning to confirm that he did indeed propose to his new fiancé on Friday night. TnT congratulated the Beast and then talked about how they met. The guys also talked a bit about video taping cheerleader competitions, something Beast does now at his job with Mr. Video. He told TnT about an incident where someone he knows witnessed a solo 16-year-old girls strap brake and a boob popped out but she finished her routine. The father of the girl approached the cameraman and demanded that all copies of the tape be erased. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary on the governments new color code alertness system being bumped up to Yellow. From there, he went off on a rant about all of the immigrants he sees at his local Wal-Mart. Well hear more from Larry as the week progresses. Travis came in to do the sports report this morning. Before beginning, Todd and Tyler gave Travis a healthy amount of crap for all of his local modified racing cross talk with Pos on the Channel 3 news recently. Donnie correlated Trav & Pos racing talk to that of him talking about wrestling on the radio or Todd talking about the weather. Everyone seemed to think that when Travis talks about local racing, hes talking to a very small, niche audience and it makes for bad TV. Travis then did his sports report and wrapped it up with a couple of audio clips of Attaboy doing the play-by-play of this weekends Nebraska State Goldenrods spring game. The guys spoke to Adam Ferrara while he was on his way to the airport after his visit to the Omaha Funny Bone. Both Adam and Sean Gnandt went to the Club Styx party on Friday night in between their two shows at the Bone. Adam described the scene at the party and claimed, Sean was the prettiest one there. Then he went on to talk about the post-party festivities he witnessed. Adam said that there were 6 rooms joined together and all of the furniture was moved into just one of them. Then all of the mattresses were laid out on the floor. Next to the mattresses he saw beer, chips and dip, lube and condoms. From Adams account, the turnout was less than stellar. TnT later prompted any listener who may have shown up to the event later to give them a call tomorrow with the details of the after hours party. Towards the end of the show, Brian returned for his E-news report. During the report he read over the top 10 worst things you could eat/drink while driving, as reported by some insurance group. #1 on the list was hot coffee. A few notable mentions that were also on the list, which struck TnT as being rather odd, were fried chicken and BBQ ribs. Who the hell eats ribs in the car? someone asked. Brian then wrapped up his entertainment report by reading yet another yuppy wedding announcement in the paper. Surprise, the groom was a frat guy and is now a dentist and the bride was a sorority chick and former Kingdom of Quevera debutant. Before leaving the air this morning, TnT gave the details of their golf tournament one more time and prompted their listeners to get out to either of the two Nebraska Golf Discount locations, 108th and Dodge in Old Mill or at 145th and Center, to pick up their registration forms. They stressed again that the tournament fills up quickly so if you are interested it would be a good idea to get registered as soon as you can. Thats it for the Monday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and rejoin TnT tomorrow at 5:30am for another show. By the way, there will be no written update of tomorrows show because Ive got a funeral to attend in the morning and I wont be able to listen to the show. Ill be back on Wednesday so I hope youll visit back. Thanks for watching. Good night. Corby- |
