| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-06-2002 Monday 5-6-02 Todd and Tyler started their show this morning by talking about their weekends. All of the guys attended the Friday night Royals game, yet none of them realized the others were there. Tyler mentioned that the new Casey mascot uniform looks horrible and said that he spoke with the guy inside the outfit who happened to agree with him. According to the man inside the lion, the mascot will be losing some of its pudginess shortly, as some of the midsection stuffing is going to be removed from the costume. There were a variety of other topics discussed during the early half of the show including the ridiculously invasive weather graphics that ruined broadcast television again last night. Thanks local TV news/weather departments for thinking a little rain in Columbus justifies you destroying everyones evening television viewing. TnT touched on last nights Cunningham lake boat rescue. The guys also discussed how the mailbox pipe bomb stories all weekend slowed the expected overload of Buffet coverage. That led TnT into a little talk about the Berkshire people, which eventually landed the guys into a 3-minute bout of yelling Buy or Sell from the trading floor as Ray Charles repeatedly called out Berkshire stock prices. It was eye-wateringly silly and you could tell the guys were legitimately having a blast with their show today. During Brians newscast, the guys spent about an hour discussing the pipe bomb stories, not including their comments on the other topics of the day. Consequently, the early newscast was broken into two segments, a trend that has become frequently lately (I like it). The guys commented on the new restrictions being implemented by the Post Office about keeping your mailbox doors permanently opened. They didnt seem to like the idea because the wind in Nebraska is atrocious and they were worried their mail would blow away. They went on to say that the Post Office might be shooting themselves in the foot with the new, tougher restrictions. The PO is already losing a ton of money due to the invention of e-mail. With further restrictions making it even more difficult for people to get their mail, they may end up losing more customers. On a different note, over the weekend Donnies wife threw him a surprise birthday party in Fremont. Todd and Tyler didnt attend because, well, the party was in Fremont. When Brian found out about the party this morning, he seemed bummed out that he wasnt invited. He then found out that he had been e-mailed an invitation by Slave Boy Jeremy on behalf of Caller 9 but because Brian doesnt check his e-mail every day, he didnt get the message. BW ranted for a bit about the way human interaction and verbal communication is beginning to break down due to the e-mail phenomenon but TnT werent listening; they were busy checking their e-mails. With the approach of Mothers Day, the guys spent some time this morning talking about a special Todd and Tyler Mothers Day giveaway they have worked out. Over the next few days, the guys want to take calls from listeners who have hot moms. After providing a detailed description of their hot moms, the callers names will be logged and then on Thursday, a winner will be selected. The callers mother will be phoned and their son/daughters original description to Todd and Tyler will be played for the hot mom. That mom will be awarded two tickets to anywhere within the continental United States on Southwest Airlines. All runners up will be awarded a facial from Todd and Tyler, as well as some sort of angry-sounding massage. TnT began their hot mom contest this morning by opening up the phone lines. Throughout the remainder of the show, they took calls from both men and women who described their hot moms to TnT. As each caller gave his or her description, Todd and Tyler interjected with important questions such as, How big are your moms nipples? Are we talking quarter sized or pencil erasers? and Is you moms ass a one-hander or two-hander? TnT made it clear that their questions were aimed at creeping the holy hell out of the callers, especially the guy callers who didnt want to dwell on the details of their mothers areolas. At one point in the hot mom discussion, the guys phoned one of the contestants moms that is a real MILF, as the caller described. Her name was Margie and she sounded pixie-ish hot. She talked about being so hot with TnT for a bit and then the guys moved on. That call, however, lead the guys into a discussion about whether any of their listeners had ever seen their mom naked. They got one call on the subject late in the show from a brother caller named Brian. He said back in ~62, he saw his mom in a see-through teddy, and she had Afros everywhere. The disturbing visual scarred the caller for years but he eventually got over it. Ironically, the thought of Brians moms 62 wolf puss made both Todd and Tyler chub up. Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary about being confronted by a wheelchair bound kid with a colored mohawk giving him and Larrys reverend buddy a hard time at the mall when Larry and the Rev. were staring at high school girls asses and feeling up mannequins. It was a rather odd commentary but still pretty funny. Before letting Larry go, TnT asked if the big announcement he teased them with all last wee could be made this morning. Larry said it could not but he may possibly be able to reveal his big news later in the week. Jose from Journals Spanish speaking station came into the Todd and Tyler studio this morning to talk about the big change some of you may have read about in the paper over the weekend. Journal is moving their Spanish speaking station and Jose from AM over to the 97.7 FM frequency on May 10th. To begin with, TnT were glad to hear that during the switch, Journals country music radio station was finally executed. Secondly, they congratulated Jose on his big move to the FM dial, where he will be able to reach more listeners than before. TnT then spent some time talking about some of the racist calls the station received after listeners found out about the death of the redneck, country music station and the FM move of the Spanish speaking station. From there, the Cinco De Mayo parade and celebration was discussed, the guys talked about exactly what duel citizenship means, Jose then broke down the price of a condo in Mexico and the value of the Peso Vs. the Dollar, and there may have been a soccer reference somewhere the conversation, too. It was yet another interesting visit with Jose. Before he left, TnT pointed out that he would be welcome on their show any time even though he will now be on FM radio during their show timeslot because the two shows probably wont share the same audience. To wrap up todays program, Todd and Tyler restated the details about their upcoming golf tournament taking place at Stone Creek on Friday, May 17th. There are still some slots left for the tourney but TnT urged any listener who wants to participate to register quickly, as the spots are beginning to fill up. The cost to attend is $75 per person and for that, you'll get a round of golf, a meal before and after the tourney, a sleeve of balls, a Todd and Tyler golf towel, and a white Polo shirt with the red, white, and blue Z-92 logo. Registration forms can be picked up at either of the two Nebraska Golf Discount locations (108th and Dodge in Old Mill or at 145th and Center). Once you've picked up your form and filled it out, return it and your entry fee to the Z-92 studios right off of 108th and L Street. The guys are going to continue their hot mom topic until Thursday and would like to urge anyone in their audience to phone them as the week progresses with a detailed description of how hot your mom is. Keep in mind that the grand prize winner will be receiving two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental United States on Southwest Airlines. They look forward to more hot mom calls tomorrow! Well, thats it for the Monday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to join Todd and Tyler at 5:30am tomorrow morning for their Tuesday show. Thanks for watching. Good night. Corby- |
