| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-28-2002 Monday 5-28-02 Todd and Tyler began their show this morning with some talk about the big Anchor Inn party that took place on Sunday. The weather for the event was less than stellar, as it was kind of cloudy and the eventual rain forced the Fish Heads off the stage a few songs into their set. They talked about a few of the more memorable moments including how the guys met Scott Frost. According to their reports, Donnie basically became Frostys lap dog, running around getting him beers all night. There were some stories about people peeing all over the place and TnT also mentioned that Cheshire Grin nearly sent James the Giant Peachs wife into labor. They then spent some time giving Travis a hard time for flirting the entire evening, saving a majority of their wrath for when Trav arrived later in the show. A few other points of interest took place early in todays program. The guys took a call or two from people who gave then a Kidd Rock concert review. To everyones surprise, humorously, the callers all seemed to think that his show wasnt entirely terrible. Later, we all found out that Joe from Blue House proposed to his girlfriend during her birthday party over the weekend. He described how he proposed and then took some abuse as Tyler called Joe a puss. Todd then gave a review of the new Star Wars movie he took the kids to over the weekend. He said the writing and acting sucked, the movie itself was terrible and boring, and he went on to bash Star Wars fans for centering their entire existence around such a crappy group of movies. Also early in the show, TnT took a phone call from a homophobic rodeo clown with two butt holes that they met at the Anchor over the weekend. He discussed clowning, being a homophobe and the dynamics having anii. I assume thats the plural form of anus but I dont know. My spell checkers melted down. *shrug* Brian came in and did the news this morning. He too shared a couple of stories about the Anchor Inn including details on how he was nearly kicked out for peeing behind a sign and how he unknowingly danced with Dean Wysockis girlfriend. He went on to do the news, which included the story about the Springfield bus driver who was busted for playing with a young boy. Brian said that he knows the guy and reserved comment while TnT discussed the situation. He mentioned that if he takes any crap from the Springfield locals about Todd and Tylers discussion of the bus driver, hell let them know so they can further talk about it on the air. When Travis arrived TnT confronted him about his flirtatious behavior over the weekend. His reply, I admit it. I was sleazing. Then the guys read an e-mail from a listener asking Travis about humping Donnies wife up against a bus. Travis tried to explain that it was all a big joke because a while back Caller 9 gave Trav a hard time for never talking to her so Trav made it a point to speak with her at the Anchor. Yea, by dry humping the producers wife in front of a couple of thousand drunks. There were also a few reports that Trav was pulling hotties out of the long Port-A-Potty lines and encouraging them to squat behind a sign as he allegedly watched. Attaboy, I just dont get you. Anyway, Travis later did sports, which included lots of baseball, softball, and racing talk. He did not, however, give us a heads up as to what he would be covering on For What Its Worth this week. TnT continued discussion of their Guys Who Know Todd and Tyler Celebrity Boxing idea that was talked about last week. They spoke to Chris Eggert of Channel 3 over the weekend and he said he wanted to fight. After some discussion, the guys thought they would call Pete Thompson of 42 and see if he was up for it. When they got Pete on the phone, he was very cool and said that he would love to participate. The guys then phoned Chris and put the two on the air together to talk about the battle. Opinions of who would win the match were shared, Travis having the most compelling thoughts as he called Pete a Sally. Also related, Midget Brian came in today and the guys spent some time trying to find him a stripper to box. They had no luck and are looking for a little help from the audience rounding up a short stripper to get punched in the boobs by a midget. If you can help out, phone the guys tomorrow. One final note on the topic came about when TnT phoned Slave Boy Jeremy to make sure he and Black Tony arent going to attempt to fake wrestle up their match. Jeremy assured then that they werent but everyone still seemed skeptical. Later in the show, Bruce Patrick came in to talk with the guys about the conclusion of Z-92s big 2 Millionth song contest. On Friday the 2 millionth song was played during Bruces shift and a mere 2 hours and 10 minutes later the 200th caller won the contest. Because of the influx of calls, the phone lines got jammed and thats why it took so long to find the winner. To Todd and Tylers disappointment, the winner, Michael from Fremont didnt seem very excited to win the $20,000 prize but Bruce chalked up his lack of enthusiasm to just being nervous. The guys then took a few phone calls from others who had tried to win and spoke to the 199th caller who was quite disappointed in his loss. He said he spent all weekend in a therapeutic state of drunkenness as he dealt with the knowledge that he was 1 button away from winning the cash. Towards the end of the show, Jay Wagner and Rodney Cruise from a group called the Coalition for Local Option Gambling joined TnT in studio. Theyre working on getting 110,000 registered voters to sign a petition to allow gambling machines in bars and must have those signatures ready by a July 5th deadline. They talked about some of the places they will be with their big yellow trailer and encouraged everyone to sign the petition. They also reminded everyone that if you are not a registered voter, you can register on the spot before signing. TnT discussed exactly what the group is trying to do, what types of gaming machines will be allowed (video poker, possibly slots), how the whole thing may affect the sale of pickles, and the percentage of funds that will go to directly, dollar-for-dollar reduce the property taxes in the state (50%). For further information, you can call toll free 1-866-597-2902 or 597-2902 locally. TnT will be speaking with these guys again in the future so stay tuned for all the details. Todd and Tyler wrapped up their show this morning by bringing in Brian with the entertainment report. They discussed most of the e-news stories and spent a little time recapping everything they covered during this mornings show. Then before ending todays broadcast, TnT mentioned that tomorrow is going to be another Dr. Ed day. He will be checking in live from his basement in Tyler, Texas. If youve got medically related questions, please feel free to call in tomorrow and speak with everyones favorite doctor. Hell probably be joining the show sometime around 7am but as always, make sure to tune in TnT at 5:30am so you can catch the whole show. By the way, you hear the replay of todays program airing at 10pm tonight on Z-92 for the 3rd Shift Replay. Thats it for today. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
