Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about last nights Z-92 night at the Funny Bone with J Medicine Hat. Everyone seemed to have a great time and found it an added bonus that two bachelorette parties full of 20-something hotties were at the show. TnT joked about how all of the single guys they were with last night, Midget Brian, Mower Brian, and Slave Boy Jeremy could have attempted to close on any of the young hotties but none of them even bothered. That led to a conversation about how of the three, Slave Boy Jeremy should have a pretty easy time finding women. Hes not the ugliest pickle in the toolbox, hes got the Vidal Sasson hair going on, and hes on the radio. They then realized the flaw in their logic; Slave Boy Jeremy has no game. TnT then spent some time discussing hypnosis in general. After seeing countless Medicine Hat shows, as well as Hat putting under people in studio for them, Tyler mentioned that he has come to the conclusion that if you are able to be put under hypnosis as easily as Medicine Hat does it to those he brings on stage, those people must have simple minds. He stated that he wasnt calling people who have been hypnotized stupid and then chose to use himself as an illustration of what he meant. Tyler, agreed with by Todd on the subject, said that hes got too many things bouncing around in his mind at any given moment to be able to clear their thoughts enough to be put in trance. Todd concurred and said something to the effect of, Even when Im fishing, Im thinking. It was a very funny statement that caused uproar of laughter in studio and several times throughout the remainder of the show. Before Brian came in with a news report the guys spent some time talking about the upcoming Z-Bash taking place one month from today. Ticket prices will remain $24 until the day of the show, a value that the guys stressed several times this morning. Keep in mind that not only do you get 6 bands for $24, but you also get all the fun and the festival-like atmosphere that the Z-Bash has become known for. The guys tossed out several examples of what they meant by festival-like atmosphere, pointing out that couples have met at the Z-Bash, Donnie proposed there, people poop in rhubarb patches, and theres plenty of titties to be seen. Several days ago, the guys spent some time discussing a list from TV Guide of the top 10 worst TV shows ever. After Brian wrapped up his newscast today, TnT spent several hours discussing the entire list of 50 that has just been released. They went through each of the shows on the list, discussed the premise, stars, theme songs, time slots, spin-offs, and the length of time the shows were on the air. It was a very interesting topic because it sparked memories of old shows that you may have never thought of again once they had their 4 episode run on TV back in 83. As TnT read through all 50, they disagreed with some of them and agreed strongly with others. Once they had read over each entry, TnT opened up the phone lines and took calls from listeners who had suggestions for shows that they felt should have appeared on the TV Guide list. There were quite a few shows mentioned that very easily could have fit into the list, while other suggestions just sucked. I love the Partridge Family and My Three Sons was a great show, Travis came in with the farm report this morning. During his report, the guys discussed irrigation techniques and how everyone TnT have met in this town has shared their personal bean walking stories with the guys. Several phone calls came in related to bean walking but TnT quickly executed the topic because they found it rather boring. The guys were scheduled to speak with Kevin DuBrow of Quiet Riot this morning but when Donnie phoned him, he didnt answer. Perhaps theyll be able to speak with the Z-Bash 2002 artist in the near future. Before Brian came in with the entertainment news, TnT mentioned that the fire alarm in their building was going off. As in the past, TnT stayed in their studio and continued with their show, risking their lives to entertain us. Shortly thereafter, Wex came in studio and thanked TnT for being such vigilant employees. Todd and Tyler, finding it kind of funny that they always have to stay, took a moment to ask exactly why that is. During sports, there was a mention of Donnies new best friend, Scott Frost. With football season coming up and because it has been a while since TnT have spoken with Frosty, they decided to get him on the phone today. Frost talked with Todd and Well, the fire that had set off the studios alarm earlier in the show must have burned up Brians entertainment report because after the interview with Frosty, Brian had little to say. He did mention that the Emmy nominations were announced so the guys hit the web and spent a couple of minutes discussing that as their show closer. Perhaps tomorrow Brian will be able to get the Emmy nomination details for further discussion. Well, thats it for todays update. Tune in tonight at
