Todd and Tyler kicked off their show this morning by talking about last night’s Loverboy concert at the Anchor Inn. Everyone seemed in agreement that Loverboy absolutely rocked, stating that the singer’s voice was amazing and the band seemed very ‘’tight’’. While at the Anchor, the guys noticed a Z-Bash 2002 poster in the bathroom adorned with Todd and Tyler’s caricatures had been defaced. Both of the guy’s cartoon heads had an eye scratched out and above each head was the word ‘’dick.’’ The guy’s initial reaction was to be upset but then they changed their mind and found it rather funny that a grown man would take the time out of his life to scribble something on a poster in the men’s room of a bar. They reconsidered taking the poster down, figuring that because it was publicizing the Z-Bash, it would be worth it to leave up.

Also early in the show, TnT got a call from Travis Justice. He told the guys that he wouldn’t be in this morning because he was scheduled to start playing in the Pro-Am golf tournament at 7:30am this morning. He basically called in to tell TnT about what sort of goodies they would be getting when they arrived to play in the same tournament later in the afternoon. Donnie seemed quite pissed that Travis didn’t bother to tell anyone he wouldn’t be in to do the sports prior to his phone call to TnT this morning. TnT, too, were upset because they were able to schedule their tee off time for later in the afternoon and wondered why Travis hadn’t done the same thing. They elaborated further by saying that they are beginning to get sick of people who play a part in their show putting their show on the back burners.

Brian came in with the news and as he delivered the stories, Todd and Tyler discussed each. Before wrapping up, BW mentioned that he saw a pregnant woman at the Anchor Inn last night drinking and smoking. TnT jumped into the conversation immediately, saying that they heard about her as well. Todd, Tyler, Donnie, and Brian all piled on the pregnant woman and the man she was with, who was feeding her watermelons and beers all night, and viciously scolded her over the airwaves (rightfully so, I must add). Phone calls began to pour in from both male and female listeners who assisted in the verbal battery of the idiotic pregnant woman who was purposely causing harm to her unborn child. Several of the ladies who checked in were actually pregnant themselves, including Tyler’s very own honey, Becky. Everyone agreed that what the woman did was wrong.

Todd and Tyler fired up their connection to the world’s best medical professional, Dr. Ed. Live from his basement in Tyler, TX, Dr. Ed answered a plethora of questions from TnT listeners as he snacked on biscuits and gravy topped with grapes. When Dr. Ed came on the line, TnT were still discussing the pregnant slosh they saw at the Anchor last night and Dr. Ed shared his knowledge about alcohol consumption during pregnancy. Then the phone lines lit up with calls about monster cists, nasty armpit lumps, liquid filled voids, saggy scrotums, Chubaka ass syndrome, and the joy of playing with your own nubby vas deferens. Donnie even asked Dr. Ed about testicular pain he has when Caller 9 tugs on his sack as she ‘’grazes’’ his ‘’grapes.’’ It was yet another awesome visit with Dr. Ed this morning. Keep in mind that he will be rejoining TnT in about two weeks so start saving up your medically related questions for then.

Brian returned later in the program to do the sports report for Travis. As mentioned earlier, Attaboy was taking part in the Pro-Am golf tourney this morning, the same tourney TnT are both playing in this afternoon. TnT had the foresight to schedule their start time for the afternoon because they work in the morning. Oh wait, so does Travis! Well, at least he’s supposed to work in the morning. Several times throughout the show, TnT made references to Travis’s absence and seemed pissed off at Trav for not being there today. I’m sure they’ll bring this up with Trav when he returns tomorrow.

Todd and Tyler spoke to Andy Zacks, the music geek from Comedy Central’s show, ‘’Beat The Geeks.’’ They started off by asking him how he got to be such a big geek about music, moved on to talk about his vast collection of albums, and then spent some time talking about the show itself and the types of people who appear on the program. TnT also asked about some of the other geeks on the show before having Black Tony try to stump Andy with a question about some old rap group’s lead singer, which he nailed. Andy was very cool and seemed to enjoy talking to Todd and Tyler. Perhaps the guys will get him on again in the near future.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and delivered a commentary that was much more timely than his previous attempt. This morning, Larry talked about the fat guy who is suing McDonalds for getting him addicted to fast food. As we’ve come to expect from Cable Guy commentaries, it was full of references to fatties. Brian rejoined TnT towards the end of this morning’s show and delivered another stellar e-news segment. During the e-news, the Emergency Broadcast System kicked in with a monthly test of the equipment and when TnT got back on the air, they seemed to be a bit frantic. There must have been some behind the scenes troubles in the studio related to the EBS break-in but as a listener, everything seemed to flow smoothly. After recovering, Brian continued and the gang discussed many of stories from the world of entertainment before moving into some non-entertainment topics. Those topics included a discussion about some of the teams that make up various college football conferences and about how they don’t get some of the celebrity pairings Radio Shack is doing in their TV commercials.

Tomorrow Todd and Tyler are going to be joined by Lee Terry. Also, Otto and George from the Funny Bone are scheduled to stop by and hang out for a bit. It should be another great show from TnT so make sure to tune in at 5:30am and hang around with the guys all morning.
