| Administrator ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 08-01-2002 Thursday 8-1-02 Todd and Tyler started their show this morning by talking about golfing in the Pro-Am tournament yesterday afternoon. They were paired up with a cool pro by the name of Charles Raulerson from Florida. They discussed how they played and then talked about the party atmosphere of the 19th Hole, which was described by someone as the place to be seen. Neither Todd nor Tyler seemed to like that description, stating that the thought of people going to the golf tournament just to be seen is snooty. The guys also talked 42s sports guy who broadcast life from the 19th Hole last night. He ended his broadcast with some wacky expression, which they found rather stupid and said that they dont expect the guy to be in town much longer. Someone, it may have even been Donnie himself, referred to the 42 sports guy as their version of Donnie. Also related to their golf outing yesterday, the guys mentioned that one of the big houses on the course is up for sale. They saw a sign for the real estate agent and Tyler grabbed the number. Wex, TnTs boss and probably one of the coolest guys in the known universe, phoned the number and found out that the owner was asking 2.2 million dollars for the home! The guys spent some time this morning trying to figure out exactly how much that would cost monthly. Several callers checked in with their mortgage calculators handy and it was determined that anyone could buy the home for a measly $17,000 per month. Todd and Tyler mentioned early in the show that Congressman Lee Terry would be joining them later in the program. Shortly after, they received a call from the Libertarian candidate running against Lee, Dave Stock (http://www.stockforcongress.com/). The guys talked with him briefly about the views of the Libertarian party, a party both Donnie and Todd belong to, and it became quite obvious that Donnie doesnt have the best idea of exactly what his partys beliefs are. That led into a discussion about congressional salaries and Mr. Stocks idea to cut the salaries of congressmen and give that money back to the people. Several callers checked in to talk about how much congressmen get paid and that took the show into an economic discussion regarding the variations in the cost of living between Omaha and Washington DC. Brian came in with the news and before starting he spent a little time talking with TnT about how two businesses across the street from each other seem to be competing for his business. One of the bars has made Tuesday night Brian Huston night and Brian has heard that the other business is upset because he doesnt talk about them on the air as much as he does the other. TnT then mentioned that neither business should be mentioned on the air because they dont advertise and said that if they do get mentioned, both TnT should then be rewarded with some financial stake in the businesses. Well see if Brian Huston Tuesday continues next week so stay tuned. Lee Terry, Lee Terry - U.S. Congress, joined TnT after Brians newscast. He brought Todd and Tylers old news chick Danny with him because she now works for Terry. They all played a little catch up before moving into a discussion about some things going on in Washington and what Lee has planned for his time in Omaha now that Congress is on a break. Dave Stock, the Libertarian candidate running against Terry phoned back in but issues radio was shut down pretty quickly by TnT, who wanted to talk with Lee about more fun stuff, let political stuff. For example, Lee Terry shared a story about how none of the women in DC are willing to get into an elevator with the 99-year-old Strom Thurmond because he still likes to cop a feel on the ladies. It was good to hear Lee back on the air with TnT. From the sounds of it, he doesnt consider the guys a political liability, he just hasnt been able to get into Omaha during the week in a while and thats why he hasnt joined TnT in studio much lately. Travis came in with a sports report this morning. TnT gave him a little bit of a hard time about not showing up yesterday to do sports on their show but for the most part, they seemed to have forgiven Attaboy. Travis then spent some time talking with the guys about his golf outing yesterday. He said he played less than amazing, hitting two homes and Maple Street twice! The professional golfer that TnT played with yesterday, Charles Raulerson phoned the show. The guys all talked about their game yesterday, Charles saying Todds putting sucks, and then discussed Charles recent Tiger Woods encounter, in which he actually got to play with him. From there, he went on to talk about how he prepares for tournaments, his practice schedule, and how he feels about this weeks competition. He also dropped an S-Bomb on the air when blaming the recent economic problems on the Clinton administration. Imagine that. A southern republican on the golf course. Anyway, Charles seemed really cool and had a good time playing with TnT yesterday. Perhaps well hear from him again in the future. Todd and Tylers comedian friend Mark Gross stopped by the studio this morning. Hes in town visiting family and thought he would stop by the station and say hi to the guys. He didnt seem to stick around very long, though. Perhaps well hear from the Grosser again in the near future. Otto and George from the Funny Bone stopped up this morning and hung out with TnT for a bit. They brought with them their manager/feature act, Joe Miller. The guys spent some time catching up on things that have happened since the last time the ventriloquist was in town. They also discussed the Otto & George movie, American Dummy in which the doll humps porn star Nina Hartley. You can find the video at their web site, Welcome To The Miller Productions & Management, LLC Website. From there, the gang discussed Otto & Georges last trip to Omaha that landed him in trouble with the law for getting drunk and making late-night prank phone calls to local businesses. Elaborating further, Otto & George discussed how whacked his/their personal life and mental status is. Brian returned later in the program with the e-news. During his report, he delivered another installment of the Nebraska Sex Offender list. Joe Miller and Otto & George really seemed to get a kick out of the fact that TnT read the sex offender list over the air. That prompted TnT to share some of the strange sex freak stories in the news over the last year. They talked about Florae and his semen filled film canisters as well as covering Roger Vans branded Texan gimp story. Before ending todays show, TnT phoned the home number of porn star Nina Hartley. As mentioned earlier, Otto & George had filmed a movie with the porn star in which Ottos dummy humped her. Unfortunately the reunion wasnt entirely successful because Nina didnt answer the phone. Instead, Otto & George left a hilariously dirty message for her, calling her a whore several times and dropping the throck bomb on her about 10 times. Well, thats it for the Thursday update. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and make sure to rejoin TnT tomorrow at 5:30am for the Friday edition. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby-
