| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 08-13-2002 Tuesday 8-13-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show by discussing a wide range of topics. Last nights rain storms came up in conversation, as did the upcoming Husker season and Tylers ever-approaching wedding in September, among several other things. TnT also read an e-mail from a listener who felt sorry about all of the hate e-mails Trav received yesterday and wanted to give Attaboy some love. TnT later read the e-mail to Travis when he arrived with his sports report. Brian came into the studio with the news report. As he read through each story, TnT discussed them. One story in particular seemed to strike a nerve with everyone. The story itself was rather sad but at the same time, it was hilarious. Brian reported that in York County, kids have been sucking the Freon out of air-conditioning units in order to get high. A 12-year-old girl was found passed out on the lawn next to an air-conditioner after huffing up a lungful of the frosty gas. Giggles abound as the mental image of kids passed out on lawns cuddled up to now-nonworking AC units all over York County flashed across everyones mind. TnT took a few calls from listeners with experience working with Freon and it sounds like pretty gnarly stuff. Also early in the show, TnT played a sound clip of a priest molestation hot line that they got their hands on. Basically, the sound clip was of a phone call to the hot line and the voice directory tree structure youd go through as you worked your way to help. If you can see your priests penis now, press 1. It was pretty clever so if you dont get to hear it tonight on the 3rd Shift Replay at 10pm, we might here it on a Best Of show down the road. Matt Higgins and Kelly Shattuck from the law firm of Cohen, Vacanti, Higgins, and Shattuck joined Todd and Tyler this morning and spent several hours taking phone calls from the listeners. As to be expected, a majority of this mornings questions had something to do with divorce, alimony, child support, or child custody. There was one e-mail, though, that had a different twist to it, and a twist TnT both liked. The e-mailer said that his wifes friend wants to have another baby but she doesnt want a man around. His wife offered him up to her friend as the seed master. He wanted to know whether or not he could be held accountable for child support down the road even if his wifes friend has already told him that she wouldnt do it. The lawyers, much to TnTs chagrin, said that he probably could. The lawyer guys will be back in a few weeks. If you would like to get in contact with them before then, please call 345-7600 or visit them on the web at FATHERSRIGHTSLAW.COM. Donnie revealed this morning that during a wrestling match with his 18-month-old son last night, the little guy bit him on the tip of the junk. Travis came in later in the show with his sportscast. He wrapped up his report today by reading his For What Its Worth commentary from last nights 10pm KM3 newscast. The topics covered included how Stunts, the best arm in the Huskers QB regiment, is currently the 3rd string guy, how Jason Priestley should stick to acting, not crashing, and how people shouldnt blame fast food restaurants for making them fat. TnT liked the idea of Travis branching into the non-sports realm for topics when things are slow so perhaps well hear more of that sort of thing in Travs FWIW in the coming weeks. Then again, maybe not. Football season is approaching. If youd like to comment on Attaboys FWIW, you can phone his voice mail at 593-2706 or send him an e-mail at travis@km3.com. Towards the end of todays program, Brian returned with an entertainment report. During todays report, Todd and Tyler went into great detail about the recipe for making Mexicans. Id elaborate further but that sentence is pretty funny all by itself. Midget Brian also joined TnT earlier in the show, effectively freaking out the two lawyers who were in studio earlier. Consequently, there was lots of small talk during the e-news. TnT also teased us by mentioning that theyll be covering a list of the top 20 best guitar players of all time on tomorrows show, as well as the possibility of finally finishing up the last 20 best cartoons ever. Thats it for todays update. Tune in tomorrow at 5:30am for the Wednesday show and feel free to check out the 3rd Shift Replay of todays show airing tonight at 10pm on Z-92, the Rock Station. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
