| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 09-13-2002 Friday 9-13-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking to their buddy Scotty from Husker Hounds. He was on his way to the airport headed to PA (through Georgia, like Trav) for the Penn State game. Scotty mentioned that he and a bunch of his college buddies are also hitting the Sunday Steelers game. From there, TnT discussed speaking last night for a group called Matrix, one of those lets get together, drink, and plan social events type of clubs. TnT said they enjoyed their experience, talking about issues in free speech and how they relate to the media, and most of the people they talked to were very cool. Following that, the guys read over a few e-mails from computer illiterate women who couldnt find the Todd and Tyler section of Z-92s web site, where the details of TnTs calendar contest are, so they shared the details again. Brian came in with the news a little later on. During the news, the gang got into a heated argument over something Brian said. He spouted out that women should stay home and raise babies (more or less) and back peddled by saying he was really only trying to say that families can sacrifice here and there so at least one parent can stay home with the kids. Thanks Dr. Laura. Anyway, after the gang had worked that out and the news continued, they spent some time talking about Brians doctor appointment today in which he is going to get his testicular cists looked at. TnT tried all morning long to convince Brian that all he needed to do to alleviate the problem with his nad lumps is to twist off more often. Earlier in the week, Tyler mentioned an older female movie star that his dad really digs. They referenced it again this morning, which led them into a huge discussion about mainstream movies that have twistable scenes in them. They opened up the phone lines and e-mail box and were bombarded with suggestions from their listeners. There were far too many movies mentioned to detail here but I can say that the conversation continued throughout the remainder of the show. Tylers dad, Ed Utah phoned the show this morning from a Pennsylvania golf course. He spent some time discussing the Penn State talk in the Harrisburg newspaper surrounding the upcoming Husker game. For the most part, there isnt that much talk going on, with the exception of some thoughts being shared about how to defeat the Huskers running game. Tylers buddy Bill, a huge Penn State fan, was golfing with Ed too so the guys spoke to him. He said that the Penn State fans are worried about other selling their tickets to the game to Husker fans, like Notre Dame did last year. BW came in with the sports report for Travis. Before he began, Attaboy checked in and told TnT that he didnt make it to Harrisburg, instead he ended up in Altoona, PA. He spent some time talking about the Crouch situation with the guys and then gave his Lock and Saint of the week. For his Lock, hes selecting Michigan 4 at Notre Dame. His Saint of the Week is the patron Saint of music, St. Cecilia. Trisha Meuret came in to cover the e-news segment of this mornings show because Brian had to visit the doctor. The gang talked about Trishas empty love life, what she did on September 11th, Nick Noltes mug shot, which is published on the TnT page for you to laugh at, and more. There was also a little breaking news about three men who were arrested for a possible terrorist attempt near Miami towards the end of the show. Although details were still a bit sketchy, the gang discussed what they knew so far. After the e-news, TnT continued their hot movie scene discussion by taking some more phone calls and reading over e-mails. They also pondered what happened to J. Medicine Hat, who was supposed to stop by this morning. Even though he didnt make it up to see Todd and Tyler, you can still catch him at the Funny Bone this weekend by phoning 493-8036. Well thats the update for today. Im sorry if its a little short but Im packing boxes for a move this morning. Tune in Sunday night at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay of this mornings show and rejoin the guys on Monday at 5:30am as they kick off a new week. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
