Friday 10-4-02

Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by welcoming Black Tony to the studio, as is normally the case on Fridays. Afterwards, TnT spent some time discussing Crouch’s press conference yesterday and how he has claimed that if he does play football again, he wants it to be at the QB position. The guys also discussed a couple of interesting political campaigns taking place across the country.

Following that, TnT read an e-mail from a female listener asking them for some advice. She said that she gets turned on by flashing truckers and is worried that if she continues, she might eventually do something more than just show off her boobs. Neither Todd nor Tyler saw a problem with the boob flashing but as Todd pointed out, the lady may end up with her face buried in the crotch of a fat trucker outside a Sinclair station. Several times throughout the remainder of the show, TnT reintroduced the e-mail and took calls. For the most part, nobody seemed to see a problem with the e-mailer’s boob flashing fetish and in fact, several truckers encouraged her to do it more.

BW came in a little later in the show with more gripping Paul Williams news. Following that, he mentioned that the mystery van that has been parked in front of his house has disappeared. Brian said that he went to the police station to file a report on the van before it disappeared and was told that the cops were on vacation camping. TnT got a kick out of that, and later took a call from the backup officer to the guy who was camping. Brian also stated that the high school kids in Bennington toilet papered his house last night as part of their homecoming prank.

BW eventually got into the news and it was during one of those stories that Tyler made the hilarious comment, ‘’If I were Mormon, the wife that bitches the least that night gets banged. That’d be my rule.’’ Later, BW went over a sick list sent to them by their boss that detailed a variety of gross facts. Such facts included details of how much of other people’s farts we breath in each day, how many pubic hairs we eat each year by visiting fast food restaurants, the number of times one has indirect contact with the penises of strangers, and how frequently people who come to your home to do work sniff your panties. The panty sniffing fact spawned a bunch of phone calls from listeners who shared stories about busting employees and co-workers for doing just that.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning with a commentary on how pointless the middle east weapons inspections are, considering the fact that the inspectors aren’t going to be allowed to inspect the palaces. We’ll hear from Larry again next week so stay tuned.

Travis came in with a sports report (on the fly, as the computer ate his script). There was plenty of talk about Crouch’s press conference and some discussion of 1918 Husker history. Trav’s Lock is Boise State at home –3 ½ over Hawaii. His Saint of the week was either Saint Bueno, the patron saint of diseased cattle, or Saint Kevorkian, the patron saint of bits that the plug should be pulled from. 8^)

TnT spoke to Creighton basketball coach Dana Altman this morning. They wanted to find out if he’s been able to avoid being infected by any terrible, mosquito carried viruses, unlike his baseball counterpart, Jack Daum. After confirming his health, the gang spent some time discussing the upcoming season, the start of practice in a week, the status of the new arena that the team will be playing in, and how the new arena is affecting recruiting. We’ll hear more from coach Altman as the season gets underway.

Ranter extraordinaire Auggie Smith from the Funny Bone stopped by the studio and hung out for a while today. He discussed a bet he made with one of the Bone’s waitresses last night regarding the audience’s enthusiasm for his show. He received an encore, winning the bet, and got to lick whipped cream off the tittie of the waitress in the back room. When Colleen heard about it this morning, she seemed a bit pissed at him. Auggie joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a great time being back in the studio with TnT. Make sure you catch him at the Funny Bone this weekend. Call 493-8036 for reservations. Jessica Dol dropped in and brought with her several e-mails from creepy guys who have been hitting on her ever since she’s been mentioning being single in the daily Bruce/Jessica promos. TnT read the e-mails over the air and everyone seemed to agree that the guys were all a bit odd, especially the Renaissance fair geek/UNO bus driver.

To wrap up the show, BW returned with an entertainment report. Today’s e-news included an obscure dead guy of the day and a wonderfully heartwarming tale of a 4-year-old Florida girl who was viciously mauled by an angry chicken. As you might imagine, the chicken tale spawned quite a variety of ‘’cock’’ jokes. Well worth a listen if you can catch the 3^rd Shift Replay on Sunday evening.

Todd and Tyler are going to be out at Scary Acers on 172^nd & Giles tonight from 8 to 10pm. Make sure to stop on out and see the guys.
