| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-08-2002 Tuesday 10-8-02 Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning by talking about last nights Monday Night Football party at Brewskys. They had another great turnout for the event. Consequently, due to the beer flowage last night, the guys were a little hung over when the show started. They seemed to cheer up, though, later when Joes Café dropped off some food for them. The guys also spent a few moments early in todays show commenting on the quality of photos being sent to them for the calendar contest. Theyre quite impressed with many of the photos and both Todd and Tyler seem to enjoy logging on to their e-mail each morning to a plethora of naked and semi-naked local hotties willing to bare it all for them. BW came in with the news a little later in the show. TnT discussed a variety of stories, including the Presidents speech last night. They were unable to hear the contents of GWs speech because they were at Brewskys but expressed how theyd like the impending war to start so we can just bomb Hussein off the face of the planet and get it over with. The gang also had a lengthy discussion over the geographical economics involved in the NFL football teams winter coat gear. Following that, there was some talk about Bill Murray movies, Quick Change was referenced several times, and then the guys spent a bit of time talking about how Brian has acclimated himself into the Bennington community by attending high school football games. The guys got some breaking news this morning involving the theft of Tylers car. As many of you might remember, a man was recently shot somewhere off of 137th Street about a week ago when he went outside to check on a noise and found someone trying to break into his kids vehicle. As it turns out, the guy who stole Tylers Z-28 not too long ago was the triggerman! He was out on bail for the offence against Tyler when he attempted to steal the other guys car and shot him. Tyler, as you might imagine, was pissed. Nice justice system Omaha! The gang pondered what could have happened had Tyler heard his car being stolen. Its very possible that he could have been shot that morning. Christina, the hottie whos been calling and visiting the guys lately in an attempt to get Brian to ask her out, phoned the show again today. She basically told TnT that shed nail Brian in a one-night-stand sort of deal and never bother him again, promising not to turn into a whacked stalker if BW does take the Christina plunge. TnT railed BW for not taking her up on the offer. The conversation was followed up by a phone call from Brians alleged new girlfriend, which turns out to be a deep throated mix of Beano Cook and Golden Girls star Bea Arthur. TnT spoke to yesterdays qualifier in the Jocktober NFL ticket contest, Mandy. Shes from Lincoln and joined the guys for their Monday Night Football party last night. The gang talked a little football with her and then wished her luck on this Fridays drawling. Earlier in the show, TnT mentioned todays Jocktober artist and the number of songs you must listen for but for the sake of keeping the contest fair to everyone, I will no be giving out the details in the updates. Youve got to listen all day folks! TnT spoke to Percy Crews II this morning. Hell be appearing at the Funny Bone this week and joining TnT in studio on Friday. He spent some time talking about the cruise ship circuit hes doing and commented on the amount of married women that hit on him when they leave their men for a week and get on the big boat with their friends. Percys great so make sure you call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 and get reservations to see him this week. Travis came in with a sports report later in todays show. TnT spent some time talking about Travs catholic charity speaking engagements for a bit before getting into a conversation about leaky turtle cheesecake. Attaboys headed to Lincoln today to cover the Solich Husker news conference so expect some chatter about those happenings on tomorrows TnT show. As the guys mentioned earlier in the show, theyre getting some great e-mails from local ladies looking to participate in their calendar contest. Tyler got an e-mail from an 18-year-old hottie named Ashley this morning asking how she can take part and Tyler said he was a little creeped out by the letter. Thinking like the dirty old man he is (arent we all?), he was hesitant to respond to the young lady because for some reason, he just pictured a cop sitting at a computer typing all sexy trying to lure Tyler into doing something nasty, much like they do when they bust pedophiles by pretending to be 14-year-old girls. After some discussion of the letter, TnT tried to find a lady in the hallway who could come in and read it on the microphone for them. They had quite a bit of trouble tracking anyone down, though, and ended up playing the Tom Hanks clip from Castaway where hes screaming Hellllooooooo over and over. It was hilarious. Eventually, they got the receptionist, Hillary, to come in and read the letter. It turn out that the letter itself really wasnt all that sexy but just hearing the smallest mammal ever to give birth (Hillary) read it made it so. After the guys had Hillary read the e-mail, they spent some time defending themselves from being called pigs. They pointed out that theyre just doing a radio show and some of the piggish things they say are not meant to be mean or sexist, theyre meant to be funny. After all, they are running a calendar contest asking for photos from sexy women on a rock radio station. Sex is going to come up a time or two. A little later on, they got an angry e-mail from a female listener bashing on the guys for apparently thinking that any woman who talks to them must want them. TnT ranted on the woman for a while, restated everything that they had said before the e-mailer fired off her limp skud and then moved on. BW returned later in the show with an entertainment report. He read over the 15 sexiest people as determined by Bravo, as well as covering a few other e-news topics. During this part of the show, Todd and Tyler busted out Paper Laces version of The Night Chicago Died. They played the song in its entirety and enthusiastically sang along with the kick-ass tune, feeling every note in their souls and embracing the lyrics like a lover. It was flat out awesome. Theres no other way to put it. I got chills, I sang along, I felt miniscule in the presence of such gods, Todd and Tyler! Tomorrow, Todd and Tyler will be joined by Dr. Ed at around 7am. If youve got medically related questions, have them ready for tomorrows show. Thats about it for today. Tune in tonight at 10pm for the 3rd Shift Replay and make sure to rejoin the guys tomorrow at 5:30am for the Wednesday edition of their show. Thanks for watching. Good night. -Corby- |
